Darwinia+ confirmed for Xbox Live this Fall
Acknowledging the game's "leak" by the ESRB, Introversion has confirmed that Darwinia+, a combination of Darwinia and the multiplayer variant Multiwinia: Survival of the Flattest, is coming to Xbox Live this Fall. Introversion also provided reassureance that Multiwinia is coming to the PC.
No other details are given; if you have never played Darwinia, then we strongly suggest you to download the demo (available for Windows, Mac and Linux) and try it out. Here's hoping this starts a precedent and we can one day enjoy DEFCON and the upcoming Subversion on our platform of choice.

Nice!
Maybe we'll be able to see uplink(that would be weird) or the nuclear missile sim. Those games rock :)

So is this + at the end of your ported PC game going to be the new trend? If so I'm gonna go buy the rights to several popular casual PC games with the plus sign at the end of them.

Well, it serves to offer the distinction that multiwinia is included.
Wow... over Xbox-live...

I own Uplink, Darwinia, and DEFCON... but I don't think I want to play this new game at all. Meh to Multiwania :(

Darwinia was alright, but I really loved Defcon. I consider it one of the best RTSs I've played.

This is great news. This is the type of game I hoped would be introduced on XBLA. I hope the rest of their catalog follows suit - Defcon is addictive.

One of the best PC games ever, in my opinion. This game has the type of effect Portal had on me. Kind of cultish, unique perpective and very much appeals to the 'geek' in us all.
