Just as Avalanche is to Sidewinder, Blackout is a straight up remake of everyone's favorite Halo 2 map Lockout, complete with ramps, ledges and multiple levels of mayhem. The differences are minimal and cosmetic with Blackout being set on a UNSC Antarctic weather station and it also receives the honor of being the first map to be set during the night. And from the few screenshots we are privy to, this is no Guardian folks. Blackout looks nearly identical to our friend Lockout and we wouldn't want it any other way.
