Mii wedding invitation is 'silly and lame,' also 'kind of cute'

So says 4 Color Rebellion's Vinnk, who recently sent out the pictured wedding invitation and profound declaration of geekiness to his friends, family and co-workers. Not only a testament of the Nintendo Wii's ~~perversion~~ pervasion throughout mainstream culture, the cheery avatar Mii-arriage also reveals Kevin's fellow knot tyer to be quite the sporting bride. The groom even managed to sneak in a "Wife get!" gag on the back of the invitation.

Congratulations, Kevin, it looks like you've found the right woman for you. Mind you, if it was our marriage, we would have probably gone for "Miisako."

Um, not that we'll ever get married. Or even meet a nice girl.

....

Just leave us alone, okay?!

I don't think this is silly or lame at all. Do you know how expensive wedding invitations are? This is a very clever and cost effective way of doing it. Good job.

Definetly... If I ever get married I'm going to CVS and making my own... I've seen lots of weddings as a photog and the invitations can be hella exspensive.

Men who assume they have ANY input as to the content of their wedding are fools. Once it starts, you have NO SAY in it whatsoever. She and her mother and friends and sisters will plan this big, elaborate, nonsensical thing, and you will occasionally be asked "do you like this color?" after which they will ignore your answer and pick the other color anyway.

Been there. Done that. Wouldn't even accept a salary to do it again.

Product placement is a solid foundation for any successful marriage. Lets just hope these 2 geniuses don't reproduce, maybe dude got his testacles strangled by the wires of the wiimote-nunchuck connector and had to have them altered to save his sack...one can hope.

Thanks guys. Yeah I designed them but it wasn't to save money. It actually would have been cheaper to use a pre-made card. These were professionally printed on high grade glossy paper (one of the reasons why the scan sucks) and have several full color interior pages. They actually look quite nice. A lot nicer than that picture shows.
