Tired of your Blu-ray copies of Saw IV and War not pulling their own weight? EWW OMFG, I just updated this the day before last night and it took HOURS to freaking download. The sony has the worst servers EVER. OMG FUCK. The 360 takes what 10 whole seconds to download + install updates. The ps3 takes 8pm-11pm just to download them.

Ok, I made a quick C# app to track time so I could figure out exactly how long it took. When it reached 1% it was currently at 00:03:20.4531250 (hrs:mins:seconds:milliseconds) , for FREAKING ONE PERCENT. It takes that time to install the firmware and load up the dashboard on the 360! You should have seen me the first day I got the ps3.

That's how long it took! That's how long it takes to just download a ps3 update. Sony, please fix it.

Yeah, I downloaded this last night and even though I knew what this update was bringing to the table I still read through the release notes hoping I'd see "In game XMB".

So, how do we know which BRDs are 2.0? Cause I usually Netflix them, so I don't get the box.

I already downloaded and installed this update, everything went just fine.

I noticed that the blue lamp on the Playstation Eye doesn't stay on anymore when the PS3 is on stadby in Remote Start. It used to be on when I had it plugged in untill 2.17. Nice feature addition.

I think you can also rip Blurays to your psp with this firmware, not that I'll ever use it but still kinda cool.

Yes I know we can just install linux on the PS3 to solve that issues but guess what, not everyone who owns the PS3 is tech savvy. Sony needs to really understand the important of their browser feature of the PS3 and improve it.
I have a 60" DLP TV with full 1080p rez and would like to make it my ultimate internet experience yet I can't even view CNN.com (for example) properly. I even get this stupid error message stating something about out of memory, then the browser goes blank. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD... fix it!!! Give me and many other that are pissed Flash player 9.0

They say they are a true multimedia hub well prove it and fix the browser issues. Firmware 2.20 (the latest update) doesn't resolve this.

isnt this like the 50th update in 2 months? so confused... and the DLs take forever... Why not package them up every 6 months... and maybe compress the shit so that its quicker to DL...

83 seconds, and he didn't mention installing.

Ok...I may not be the best in math...but how did two updates in March become 50 in two month... Just asking.

I don't know dude, would you rather two sets of presents (birthday and Christmas), or a lump of both once a year? I prefer two. I wouldn't want to wait a Year for something I could've had immediately.

@Sir... im just saying... ive had a ps3 for 6 months and theres always some update coming out that really doesnt do much extra for it... oohh, pretty backgrounds, how about getting us some PSHome that was supposed to be released 7 years ago... I'm not really complaining, just suggesting...

And im sorry my internet connection isnt as super 133t as yours Sir Wong... You are the master of the internetz...

So steady improvements to your PS3 is a bad thing? Oh...I guess you would get mad if your boss gave you an increase every month...and tell him "Can you just wait until the end of the year and package them together..."

Fine you can have the stupid card... my ps3 collects dust anyways...waiting on MGS to come out...and then wait a half hour for the game to install on it... yepp... some card that is...

I see "subtitles for DivX files." Are we talking OGM compatability here?
