The wait will soon be over for us norms to find out what all the eight-tenths kids who owned Sega Master Systems were up to in the late 80s. Sega announced today that two games for the system are on their way to the Virtual Console: Wonder Boy and Fantasy Zone. They'll be arriving "soon" for 400 points a piece. After those drop, we'll still be on the lookout for other SMS favorite like Alex Kidd and ... hmm. Wait, we'll think of something. Well, there's ... no, no, that was terrible. OK, we give. Are there any you guys and gals want?

I never completed this though. I got to the third planet (the ice one?), but could never get any further without something from Medusa on the first planet, and she always killed me. Ah, good times.....

It was a transformers rip off sort of..
What about that haunted house game.. It had no ending, you just got different colored backgrounds and the movements of the bad guys sped up to make it more difficult

Also..... Teddy Boy!

Rastan was entertaining, even if it had a lousy cover even by Master System standards.
Beyond that, though... I already have a Genny with a Power Base Converter. I want a Master System game, I generally just play it natively.

It's usually listed for about $20 online, but I got mine in a Real Canadian Superstore in Canada for I believe $6.98
Some of them list different games, but mine came with:
Sonic Blast
Sonic Chaos
Sonic Drift 2
Sonic Spinball
Sonic Triple Trouble
Alex Kidd in High Tech World
Alex Kidd in Miracle World
Alex Kidd The Lost Stars
Altered Beast
Astro Warrior
Bomber Raid
Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine
Ecco the Tides of Time
Fantasy Zone
Golden Axe
Penguin Land
Psycho Fox
Quartet
Ristar
Super Columns
Note that some of the games like Ristar are actually Game Gear versions of the game.
The unit is not that great to play with, but its definitely better priced than these virtual console games, and it's funky-looking enough to appeal to even modest Sega fanboys like myself.

I still have my copy!
Sadly, that's not a lie.

In any case, I can only remember playing Shinobi over at his house and playing it again would be rad.

I think people have childhood memories of the sms that won't live up to expectations.
