Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Resistance 2 get release window in UK
VideoGamer.com appears to have gotten hold of a Sony UK release schedule for upcoming Sony games, giving us a better idea of when we'll see some of the PS3's biggest titles. According to the release, Killzone 2 and LittleBigPlanet will arrive at some point in September, with Resistance 2 following close behind in November. Sony has confirmed the dates, saying that the info has been "in the public domain for a while now."
The last time we heard that September date being batted around for LBP, it was an unofficial source, so it's nice to get it confirmed. Now, what we don't know is specific dates or how the dates of Killzone 2 and Resistance 2 will stack up with their North American counterparts, but we wouldn't count on them being released much later stateside, promising a very happy autumn for PS3 owners.

LBP will be a game that I can play with the wife and son. Cannot wait. If KZ2 is coming in September, then the flood gates should open soon. And judging from the 1st footage shown at E3 2007, we are in for a treat.

I will wait to judge this game until I PLAY it. I know, ridiculous isnt it.
Resistance mediocre? yes, the first installment wasnt a stellar FPS, but it was Insomniac's first FPS title, and also, it sorta felt fresh, seriously, the variety of weapons was insane! gotta hand it to Insomniac for being innovative...
And Insomniac promised many things for Resistance 2, these guys have rarely, if at all, delayed any of their games, and almost always have kept their promise when it comes to their games.
As for Killzone 2, you should play the first one, but not on the PS2, play on the PS3, the game runs more smooth! I think since I'm not such a huge fan of the FPS genre I wanted a true FPS game and not an "arcady" one...
And come on, the tech demos for KZ2 thus far blow anything else away (NOTE: Im not saying that its a better game, because no one knows the quality of the game until it is release, I'm refering from a tech point of view)
And yah, people at the arcade are waiting for COD6, such Infinity Ward hoes, haha (kudos to IW for bringing back the franchise with such a quality game)
agree with almost everything there. Disruptor was insomniacs first fps. Disruptor was the original Bioshock (fps with phychic powers).
I apologize, I really didn't hear about that game (was still living in S America around that time and there was varely any, if at all, advertisement for many videogames)
Though don't think that I'm trolling - LBP looks the dog's bollocks.

Killzone and Resistance however, just can't get myself excited about. The previous releases were hyped to hell and turned out to be rather average, why should these be any different?

Though really I am a bit excited for Resistance 2, if only because I wish that other developers would incorporate the whole separate story lines for single player and multi-player into their games.
Honestly, Killzone and Resistance didn't do much for me either, but Resistance was far more enjoyable than Halo 3... now THAT was a mediocre game hyped to hell.
