Call of Duty 4 map pack comes to PSN late April

PlayStation 3 owners will pay the same $10 price for the four maps: Creek, Broadcast, Chinatown and Killhouse. Fourzerotwo also said they were working out the logistics to bring the maps to the PC. No word on a Call of Duty 4 "Game of the Year" edition for PS3 owners.

They're probably just gonna wait until the maps are a bit old and release them for free on the PC. If they released it for free right off, console gamers would be extremely pissed off. But if they tried to charge for them on PC, everyone would just pirate them.
Even those of us who buy games on PC say "fuck you" to horse armor. Full expansions-- fine. But we don't pay for shit that should come free with the patch, or that is inferior to what mod-makers are giving us anyway.

What's this bull****? You can't possibly be telling me that it takes longer to make a MAP for a PS3 game than a 360 game. This sounds like Infinity Ward is just prioritizing 360 development over the PS3.

Infinity Ward, those lazy devs. Oh I mean, they arent lazy they got a game running on PS3 *almost just as good as teh 360 version. I have both I can tell the diff, nothing major though.

man ive been waiting for this. every time i hear news like that it just sucks. im in it for the long run. i really hope ps3 comes through in the future. a lot of good titles are coming out. touche to the xbox guys. they re really working hard for you. sony needs to think about this. so much disappointment in one month.

I really want this game, but with used copies going for $45 or more on eBay (let alone the ridiculous $55 from bick and mortar pawn shops), I figured I'd just bit the bullet and get it new. but when i heard about the maps and possible GOTY version, i thought i'd hold off. then the ps3 GOTY was in question.
now i know, and can bide my time peacefully. and get together some BestBuy coupons to make it a bit cheaper. my goal is to never pay $65 (with tax) for a game this generation. =)

-gimmicky controls
-bad graphics (the Wii is still more powerful then the Gamecube so don't give me shit about how its not next gen)
-lack of features
-no online
-no downloadable content

As far as the 360 getting the maps first BIG F'n deal! I'm glad to be an Xbox owner but its not like its exclusive. People talking about "M$ PAID THEM!" not likely, not for just 21 days. Its probably just easier for Infinity to do it or maybe its just a better relationship with M$, who knows. I'm pretty sure more copies of COD4 sold on the 360, but hey we'll all be playing it one way or another.

For those who don't already know, PS3's CoD4:GOTY Edition ships on April 23rd (according to Gamestop.com) so having the PS3 maps release later on the 24th on PSN makes sense. The same goes for 360's GOTY Edition which ships on the 1st and their DLC release a few days afterwards.

I have a ps3, xbox 360 and Wii, and i never use the ps3 other than for watching blu-ray, the graphics are no better and way more people have xbox's and play online with there xbox's! the ps3 has no games to buy anyways and im a little bit gutted i ever bothered to buy it now!
I know all the ps3 fan boys are gonna have a cry about this, but just except it xbox is best!
