Wait... Mark Rein knows Joystiq? =p
Fernando Rocker @ Mar 28th 2008 2:51PM
Ludwig
Send your Friend Code... every night a lot of Joystiqers we play SSBB, with no problems.
Everyone would want to add your Friend Code.
Zertoss @ Mar 28th 2008 4:47PM
I wish I could play online, but Comcast does a terrible job of maintaining their services. No TV and no Internet for me this weekend! Expect a technician on April 1st! Who do they think they're fooling? When I come back here on Monday, it's highly likely I'll be insane (and not the fun kind that I am now).
Also, I suspect Ludwig is pretty good with Sonic, but because I'm a firm believer in irony, my gut tells me he actually sucks as Sonic and is more of a Ganondorf guy.
THE WICKER MAN (BWF) (GT: Dalek Prime) @ Mar 28th 2008 2:15PM
Red Eyes back please. I associate it with the show. Though i must admit i dont like it as a song it just seems to work with the show. I usually listen every week on a 5 hour car trip to athens. By the time i get there it is often late and thus the song becomes appropriate. Love still alive and have it on my ipod but i tend to listen to it too much. The parappa a few weeks ago was fun. Hope this isnt a permanent change. I was at work last night and that avril lavigina song came on justin sang oh so many months ago. I had never heard it and for a second thought someone was covering McElroy.lol.
Klepto @ Apr 2nd 2008 12:03AM
Yeah, I liked Red Eyes more as the ending. I like the cover, don't get me wrong, but Red Eye as ending>all.
ChuckD @ Mar 28th 2008 2:19PM
I don't think you have celebrity look-alikes.
ApolloIV @ Mar 28th 2008 2:20PM
Are the new brush with fame rules real? I haven't listened to the podcast to see if there is a "prize" with being brushed but I mean really...
Justin McElroy @ Mar 28th 2008 2:32PM
OH, they're real.
ApolloIV @ Mar 28th 2008 3:13PM
I just listened to the podcast, this makes much more sense. Aslo, have my children justin.
ApolloIV @ Mar 28th 2008 3:13PM
Facepalm also'
ogvor @ Mar 28th 2008 2:22PM
Zomg! Buster!
BJ @ Mar 28th 2008 2:28PM
I think Justin kicks ass. I think Ludwig kicks ass. I like Chris...but the dude HAS to stop it with the "ummms". He clocks in over 100 in each show (count 'em). He ends every sentence with it. Is it driving anyone else insane (if not, now it will - sorry)??? It's even worse than Justin's Skittle mouth and Ludwig's Tribal Bushman accent. Sorry for the rant...
Zertoss @ Mar 28th 2008 2:32PM
Fuck you now I hear it! Now I have to relearn tuning it out.
As revenge for this: You are now aware that you're breathing.
Christopher Grant @ Mar 28th 2008 7:21PM
uhhhhhhhhhhh
James Lockwood @ Mar 28th 2008 9:10PM
You are now aware of that weird face you make during sex.
BJ @ Mar 28th 2008 2:46PM
apologies zertoss!
Marek Hryc @ Mar 28th 2008 3:00PM
Why is it that every contest thing I want to enter I can't cuz of that stupid Quebec rule. It's the only thing I can't stand about this damn province.
Now I'll never get a brush with fame. :(
ApolloIV @ Mar 28th 2008 3:21PM
If I ever get 2 brushes with fame, you can have mine.
Marek Hryc @ Mar 28th 2008 4:43PM
Thanks, it means alot.
Christopher Grant @ Mar 28th 2008 4:50PM
I'd apologize, but I think I would need to say it in French and English.
Marek Hryc @ Mar 28th 2008 6:33PM
It's "Je suis desolé" (pronounced deh-so-lay) in french.
J.Goodwin @ Mar 28th 2008 3:19PM
I think Joystiq should have a podcastathon to raise money for Child's Play, or possibly for needy lion cubs in search of something better to chew on than modem cables.
I'd be willing to contribute a good dollar per podcast for an event where the team has to post one podcast per hour for 24 hours.
Zertoss @ Mar 28th 2008 3:24PM
If all of us listeners did that, we'd raise almost $100!
Dale Dietrich @ Mar 28th 2008 3:39PM
Guy's I enjoy your podcasts but
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, stop saying UM and AH over and over and over!!!!
This has been driving me nuts for months. Please, nobody is rushing you. Take your time... non need for "um" placeholders.
But it seems you folks cannot say more than two sentences without interjecting an UM or an AH!!!
AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Curtis the Claw: Brawl Code 1075-0441-3284 @ Mar 28th 2008 4:19PM
Way to copy BJ's comment and then inject it with stupidity.
Cephas @ Mar 28th 2008 3:53PM
Red Eye, RED EYE! What happened to you? RED EYE!!! - Following the typing of this text, this commenter began foaming at the mouth, fell to the ground, and died.
RobLink (McElroy Defence Force) @ Mar 28th 2008 3:53PM
I'm just downloading the podcast now, but if we're talking about lookie-likeys, how about Chris and Sacha Baron Cohen, or Ludwig and Chester from Linkin Park?
Brilliam @ Mar 28th 2008 4:42PM
So, uh, guys. You should set it up so Quebec people can enter. See, if you do that, I'm sure the winner will happily translate everything into french to win their prize. I would and I barely speak french (why do I live here?)
Marek Hryc @ Mar 28th 2008 4:47PM
Tell me about it!
Neon Jebus @ Mar 28th 2008 4:46PM
Thanks guys! No cupcakes needed! Thanks for making the day all the more special. As always, love the show!
Jerk Face @ Mar 29th 2008 9:01PM
Happy birthday, pal.
(Though I suppose since I'm posting this on Saturday, it's happy BELATED birthday.)
Brilliam @ Mar 28th 2008 4:53PM
To the guy who is asking about the bringing the 360 to Montreal from the USA, it should work, no problem. Our outlets are the same, our internet is the same, and the consoles work anywhere, so the only issue would be the gamertag... which we know works fine, because people pay people in the Netherlands to get them gamerscore. :P As long as you don't log on in Canada and the United States within minutes of each other, you won't raise red flags, as you're allowed to travel w/ your gamertag.
So, in short, come on up to MTL and play some games!
Curtis @ Mar 28th 2008 7:30PM
My heart goes out to Chris. I've spent my whole adult life looking EXACTLY like Jake Busey. Anytime that dude is in the background of another forgettable film someone comes up to me and says "you look like that guy in Starship Troopers." It is pure hell. Why can't I look just like Brad Pitt?
Julio @ Mar 28th 2008 7:45PM
cant get it to play on my Zune :(
James Lockwood @ Mar 28th 2008 9:15PM
Quebec isn't even a real place - how about opening up the comps to Europe (and by Europe I mean England). Also,I'm not bothered really, but it's 1am and I'm bored and want the attention. Alos, Chris - where's my t-shirt... !
James Lockwood @ Mar 28th 2008 9:16PM
(sure I clicked reply... but then, I'm also sure I wrote 'also' instead of 'alos'...)
XGM @ Mar 28th 2008 9:39PM
Haha awsome podcast, really love it every week.
Eleniel @ Mar 29th 2008 12:22AM
As much as I love Red Eye, that Still Alive cover was amazing, and I thank you for playing it.
Bo0fa @ Mar 29th 2008 2:06AM
Woo hoo you read my email! Whoopi Goldberg as a nun would make an awesome Big Daddy. What about Robin Williams reprising his role as Mrs. Doubtfire for Atlas in Bioshock? Great podcast again.
Vampt Vo @ Mar 29th 2008 9:42AM
My friend, the Photoshop is already on the way.
ChuckD @ Mar 29th 2008 12:35PM
When Justin starts to laugh, I mean truly starts to giggle with delight, it brings me pure joy.
THE WICKER MAN (BWF) (GT: Dalek Prime) @ Mar 29th 2008 1:13PM
I bet it doesnt bring you as much joy as when you two are lying in bed cuddling and you playfully tickle his belly...seriously that was a strange comment you made. ;)
ChuckD @ Mar 29th 2008 1:17PM
Well look at me, I'm the gay devil. Did you expect anything less?
THE WICKER MAN (BWF) (GT: Dalek Prime) @ Apr 2nd 2008 3:16PM
point.
Jerk Face @ Mar 29th 2008 9:01PM
Great show, as always, guys. And I don't think you say 'um' that much, FTR.

GoldenS1104 @ Mar 30th 2008 9:30PM
So, I take it the prizes only go to the people who win the brush with fame after I did? O well, I feel honored to be the last person to not win a physical prize. lol
Shafnitz @ Mar 31st 2008 10:18PM
That "Still Alive" cover is freaking awesome. Thanks for another great show guys!
squeevi @ Apr 1st 2008 3:18AM
Man, that Brush With Lame sounds Sa-weeee-t!!! WAY better than any brush fame could give.
