Spurred on by the apparent success of anti-KFC game Super Chick Sisters, PETA is once again entering the Flash-based interactive activism arena with Bloody Burberry: The Fur Fighters. This time, the action focuses on controlling cute animal critters who are trying to raise awareness of the cruel, fur-coat-selling ways of the Burberry clothing stores. They complete this goal by freeing caged bunnies, protesting at fashion shows and spray-painting coats, all while avoiding some shadowy, black-clad security agents.
You might think a game that encourages spray-painting private property might be a little irresponsible for an activist group, but an in-game disclaimer notes that it's all right because the animal characters are "not subject to human laws." It's like the ultimate diplomatic immunity! This gives us an idea for a crime spree involving trained penguins that the courts can't touch ... but perhaps we've already said too much ....

I dislike PETA, though for reasons people probably don't understand.
PETArds have been assaulting my province -- Newfoundland & Labrador -- for the last couple of years now in protest of our seal hunt, whereupon hunters club/shoot seals (not the pups, except if by accident/illegally) for their fur, food, and oil.
The industry generates thirty million in revenue for the province annually, and quite frankly, we're quite poor in terms of what this province is able to offer the rest of the world, yet.. PETA doesn't care. They have no qualms about destroying people's livelihood and battering the already crappy economy of Newfoundland.
So yeah, PETA has the right to do all this protest junk if they want, I suppose.. but, really.. they're so agenda-ized, it's rather sickening. Just like Greenpeace.
And for the record, I eat meat because it tastes good. I don't care if it's processed, unnatural, or whatever. When I eat great tasting food, I feel good. And as we all surely know, the majority of humans like to do what feels good, and eating great, fatty food is the bee's knee's for most people.

Wait.. huh.. okay, I -think- you're being sarcastic. :B
In that case.. yeah, I dunno. PETA is rather cyclic in it's nature. The problem with their tactics is that they sometimes are very effective at what they do; they've sent countless lies to other countries in order to ban ANY product that comes from Newfoundland, just because cute seals are being killed for produce.
They've lost focus.. PETArds are focused too much on the animal, and they're raising animals up onto these stupidly high pedestals. I wouldn't be surprised if they ended up forming a religion.
They're. Just. Animals. Animals kill animals all the damn time. Why don't you go protest wolves for overhunting?
z_z Getting ticked off. Imma stop. =x

If PETA's logic holds true, then I can't wait to make that game in which cute, furry baby seals wearing explosive vests hijack a plane and crash it into the Empire State Building, or the game where adorable knife-wielding fuzzy rabbits and raccoons wander from door to door killing and gang-raping children and PETA members.
I mean, they're just animals. Human laws don't apply to them!
