50 Cent: Blood on the Sand plot revealed in IGN interview

What you going on about? Did I say I only play games with black characters? No! Get your facts straight.

I clearly stated 'it makes a change', that is also far from stating 'I would buy this game', I have never bought a 50 Cent game snd nor do I have any intention to, rap music to me is in no way as great as it used to be. Don't you read? Or were you delibertly avoiding the things you didn't want to see and attempting to twist it round?

I listen to all types of music and watch all types of movies, if anything, I am well cultured and glad to be classed as anything outside the stereotype, but that does not stop me trying to be supportive of my race.

My point however is far from selfish, I play lots of games, but even the most stupid of people can recognise stereotype, limitations and saturation when they see it. If 90% of games showcase a female half naked, it is bound to put off some girl gamers, not all however, although many female gamers would prefer if the female characters weren't half naked.

The same goes for race, I noticed how Mafia in GTA was deemed as cool, but when ghetto was introduced which still involves pointless violence, just with a different culture, it was suddenly deemed as a bad game by some individual gamers.

If wanting more black chracters in the games I play is selfish, then maybe hoping more black actors, doctors, lawyers and politicians becoming icons and a positive influence towards layabouts is selfish too. You really need to check the word selfish in the dictionary, if anything, I'm being completly the opposite, you just see it as selfish because you don't in fact understand what I have written.

Oh so I'm apparently glad that theres a TV show with welsh people in, so I feel I must watch it. No matter how shit Torchwood is.

Wow. But seriously I do feel happier playing Tomb Raider as a man.

Nope, you don't 'have' to watch it, its compltely up to you, but if the games industry decided to pull a spin on some of your favourite games and make the main characters welsh, and those characters became popular, I'm sure you'd feel proud somewhat.

Its the same with Japanese and Americans, Japanese like thier gelled up girly looking characters as you caqll them, you you prefer the beefed up macho characters, while many American's still play Japanese games and visa versa, typical opinions is that the majority of American gamers will prefer a beefed up character over a skinny superman with gel in his hair. But the chance of getting that in JRPGs is minor, you just play it, or don't play it. Its still cultural, and its still racial, its just not 'racist', thats all, its all a matter of opinion and personal preference. Just the same way I would 'prefer' to see more of my race put in the games I play, but realising I cannot always 'get' that preference, play games anyway, because I enjoy them.

Its not selfish by any means, whats selfish is if you impose your veiws on others who may not want the same preference.

I bet the big pay cheque is the worst part of it all.
