Just a friendly reminder, folks, tomorrow is April Fool's Day, so be very careful about "breaking news" you might stumble upon. Whether it's Blue Hobbits or Wii.TV, just take what you read with a grain of salt until the clock strikes midnight. Here's some helpful advice:

If it seems too good to be true, it probably is: We'd all love for Nintendo to suddenly give everyone who clicks a link a free Wii, but face it, it doesn't seem too likely.
Sourcing is important: If a blockbuster April 1 story comes from unnamed sources or a mysteriously dead web site, remain skeptical. The least they could do is forge some documentation for their joke; make them work for it.
Pimps at Sea is never coming out: It's a Bungie inside joke, and someone always manages to fall for it. Also, whatever Blizzard announces tomorrow is a lie, so just have a laugh.
Duke Nukem Forever is never coming out: That 100% confirmed release date you'll read about tomorrow? Total baloney.

Aye, they had me going for a while about releasing their movie straight to their network like that

I figured if it was a prank, the movie would just be a no-show, playing it in 20 x 30 with no sound was epic

Not quite as epic as when they ran an episode of the Chuck Norris cartoon show, which i believe was two years back, but still good

One year they showed GitS (and other shows) with farting noises through the entire episodes. That was the only time I was ever able to sit through a full half hour of Ghost in the Shell. Or when they drew mustache's on all characters during Witch Hunter Robin. Cant wait to see what they do this year.

I remember that, mmxzero. Glad I'm not the only one who finds GitS: SAC dull as hell. I find that show could cure insomnia.

They did the 'stache thing for both Witch Hunter Robin and InuYasha (which made all the InuYasha fans cry a lot, so they reaired the episode sans 'staches). I managed to take screenshots of all the Robin 'staches, but not the InuYasha ones.

We did that some years ago. The source code to Duke Nukem 3D was released on April 1st. People didn't believe it for awhile. :)

How do you know whether Duke Nukem Forever will come out? 3D Realms released Prey after about 10 years of development, why not Duke Nukem? All this negetivity surrounding the game dulls the actual experience when the game comes out. Like Halo 2. It was so hyped that it sucked when it came out. Now, when Duke comes out, and it's as good or better than Prey, all this 'down-hype' will screw over the experience. Let's all just hope it comes out this year, and enjoy it when it does.

Actually Prey was basically canceled, then picked back up somewhere around 2001 for Human Head to start working on it again.

It was then in development with them for about 5 years.
