Metal Gear Solid 4, Assassin's Creed find love on the battlefield

Oh ... dear. This is exactly the sort of video the internet shouldn't be showing us. Does it not realize the colossal, sensory danger posed by a combination of two of our favorite franchises? Seeing the Assassin's Creed garb running around a modern environment is one thing, but when the mise en scène happens to feature Metal Gear Solid 4 gameplay, we stop asking questions ("Where did this come from? Why is it so unrelenting in its awesomeness?") and start experiencing debilitating gleezures. That's glee + seizure, FYI.

Anyways, this video is epic. I'm really hoping Kojima adds an Altair costume into MGS4 somewhere as an easter egg (actually, I'd be kindda surprised if he didn't).

This really bothered me. I mean, I know that this is just a joke, but just think about it. *SPOILERS* The templars control everything, right? Just like the patriots. Maybe big boss was one of these assassins, and snake is cloned from them.

I mean, I know it's all a joke... but... the similarities between the two games are there. I only mention one, because it's the only one I thought of off the top of my head.

There will probably be some sort of Altair camo for MGS4 as a bonus, and thats cool with me. I would just be incredibly disappointed if the stories crossed over and this were real... but it's not.

But, Ubisoft makes splinter cell, and that would be interesting if they implemented some sort of reference to it in MGS4, one that is more overt than the one in MGS3.

I would have liked it more if Altaiir climbed up the side of a wall, dove on to the top of one of those machines and stabbed it.

He then could have run around the corner, sat on a bench, and the entire war would have then passed him by.

They just made an Altair costume to put over Snake and played the game as normal. (The only exception, I'd imagine, would be the ending cut scene where Snake pulls the costume off.)

No, Snake wears a generic robe like that in the actual game, watch the MGS4 trailer from E3 2006. They just changed the robe thing he's wearing to the one Altair wears.

It's a pychological thing. It's meant to scare you when it's hunting you down (behaves like a bull), or draw you into a false sense of security at key moments (when it's pretending to be injured/is whining).

It's much like how REX and RAY roared at you.
