they need to do other things to lure players back to Halo 3, they need to take things from COD4 and apply them to Halo 3, like the sprinting option to run to a location or to dodge bullets, they need to give you the option to drop a grenade or shoot back before you die, also air strikes would help, theres just alot of things that need to be done on Halo 3 for it to be number 1 again and it will never be number 1 with its current state

@ Defiler, you basically want them to make Call of teh Haloz then?

i dunno what the deal with COD4 is, the single player was awesome, i just feel the multiplayer gets samey really fast. Those new maps do sort of add a bit a variety, all of the maps included with the game felt the same to me.

@Defiler - The only thing I agree with is sprinting. I would hate for Halo to become another military shooter. I think that the only thing that could make Halo 3 any better would be to add a sprint button. Other than that, I wouldn't change a thing.

Calling in a banshee strike in halo would be awesome. Get 10 kills and call in a Scarab. ;D

That'd certainly spark my interest enough to make me play again, if only to check it out.

Not likely they are going to add sprints and airstrikes, etc. to Halo 3. It's probably not even possible. I agree a sprint would be cool, I believe they were going to add it for Halo 2 and decided it changed the play too much. Maybe they'll change things up a little in Halo 4.

Honestly though I don't see how people can complain about variety in gameplay with Halo. All the vehicles alone make it a much more varied and in my opinion, entertaining and fun, experience than COD4.

Halo maps have also always been more original, interesting, and fun than any other FPS has pulled off.

@ Defiler

Imo that wouldn't pull people away from CoD4 because no matter what they put it, it will still be a lot harder than CoD4.For details see my other comment.

Why does it matter? MLG and SWAT are both crap. Bring back Grifball and Infection.

Ooh, that could be fun. I've always felt Halo is a bit slow, so the speed-thing entices me. Sadly, with the speed-increase comes added floatiness (slidiness?) which I hate.

Should be fun to try out, anyway.

This is great news. Now that bungie has given the mlg guys their own playlist, they can stop "improving" the other playlists. I have high hopes for them drastically decreasing the frequency of team BRs and bringing back the radar jammer and flair.

"teamwork driven and skill based"? These are mutually exclusive. MLG blows.
