Mike isn't saying it was a lack of time, that the functionality wasn't available for developers to implement when the game first got started. But, good news: he pretty much confirms that sequels will have Wi-Fi play.

yea i understand the online thing, it's not his fault. And while online is a fun addition, it's not a make or break for me for any game.. cause.. you know... i have friends. lol

anywho, one thing i didnt like was how he danced around the mario kart question. He didnt really say if it was better or worse.. in fact he didnt even mention how good it was at all. im preparing to be a bit disappointed with that part of the game, especially with the real deal coming out this month.
