My favorite controller in general is the Logitech Cordless Precision that I had for the PS2. I loved how that felt in my hands and I want one for the PS3. I know that they have one right now, but it doesnt have sixaxis capabilities on it and some games do utilize it. I dont want to be playing with it and be shit out of luck when a sixaxis sequence comes up. Hopefully, logitech will see this as the time to revamp their Cordless Precision to include the accelerometers. Oh and it would be swell if it were bluetooth too.

Fernando has his place, there needs to be a counter in a PS3 thread, thats his job, just the same way there is for 360 and Wii threads :)

PS3 threads just don't seem right with 100% positive comments, anyone should know that since PS3 released. Lol, this is why Fernando brings us back to reality, life is harsh :P lol

Where is COD4? Did anyone see COD4 on that list? What about RSV2? Oh, wait. You can't play RSV2 on the PS3 anyway. Nevermind...

Has there been any word on this being included with PS3 systems soon? I know I read something about the MGS4 bundle having it but that's a few months out. I can't imagine they'd wait that long just to swap out a controller.

Although it's Sony so who knows.

Sorry SONY....I'm not biting this time and letting you take my money....you can keep your DUALSHOCK 3...and I can continue to be disappointed in my SIXAXIS..and my PS3 in general.

And to further combat the evil that SONY has become...I will continue to fill my Non-OEM 200GB Hard Drives in my fat PS2 with Games....mwahahahahaha!!!

DualShock 3 = the best controller this gen.

the only thing i admit isnt perfect is the feel of the L2/R2 triggers. however, ill accept this shortcoming since the 360 controller has an inferior dpad, inferior feel/positioning of face buttons and L1/R1 buttons, and lack of motion sensing. plus i prefer the symmetrical analog sticks over the 360 analog stick layout.

FAIL!!! HORRIBLY! You blind MOFO! =P

DS3

Too small
Stupid analog sticks (no thumb indentions)
Stupid analog stick *placement
Buttons always wear down fast and get stuck
You call L2 and R2 triggers? PFFFFTTTT!!!
Sharp angles, needs for curves for comfort
Decent D-pad but not as good as ANY Nintendo D-pad

You see you blind Fanboy, go away with your nonsense!

Hmm... I've never had any buttons wear out on my PS controllers. And did you say "ANY" Nintendo d-pad? Sorry, but ANY PS d-pad is better than the pointlessly tiny GC d-pad. I agree with most of the other point though. Overall, I have no major problem with the PS controllers though.

Synner:
When the triggers don't work, it's a big deal to you. But when the D-Pad doesn't work it's just silly whining?

Every control on the device should work right.

The only game this will be useful in will be MGS4. I never noticed the lack of weight in the SIXAXIS.

ok ok ok. it sucks big time sony had no rumble

But PS analogues sensitivity is simply a breeze. Fluid and less springy than the PS2's. allows you to make those fine accurate shots which i found more efficient than the 360's.

360's pad is definetly comfy, but the analogue is simply 92% sensitive compared to ps3's 97%. Its definetly true.

Ps3's analogue placements are far from bad. your thumbs stay horizontal meaning, you are able to perform vertical maneuvers naturally.

Sony > MS

Its natural for Sony to advance, which is why Sony > MS.

XBOX fanboys are just pissed cause they can't say that PS3 lacks rumble anymore. Quit hatin! Damn can't stay shut for at least ONE post! Sony fixed a problem, so what? It's like Microsoft extending the warranty on the XBOX because of RROD. Companies TEND to fix problems and satisfy their customers. So put a plug in it and QUIT HATING! And for all the people dissing the PS2 just 'cause it's inferior to XBOX and Gamecube, just look who's still standing...

They have said that 6axis is being discontinued, and the new MGS4 bundle in June definitely has one. So just a matter of time.

I bet it will take a month or so for current stock to run out of most places before DS3 is readliy available with the PS3.

Thanks man.. I've been waiting for MGS4 to get a ps3 and was just figuring I'd rather get the new controller than the one w/o rumble... especially with MGS4 you know...

I've noticed that a few games that I've tried with the Dualshock 3 (such as Lego Star Wars the Complete Saga, Blacksite: Area 51, and also a few others that I've tried out that I can't remember the names of) use the vibration function and have not been listed on Sony's official list and many other lists as well.
