You should check PS3fanboy.com time after time ...

;)

It is bit like watching political news: depending on TV channel, people see politicians in good or bad light. Or like reading commercial blogs e.g. M$ Windows blogs, which make you believe that Windows is very secure and stable OS. Same with consoles. Both PS3 and Xbox360 fanbois always manage to find something to spin their favorite consoles in positive light. And when comparing to Wii, there is no need to go too far to find something positive to spin.

And yet OSX, through Safari, was the first to fall to a hacking competition this year...

All OS's are hackable and have security holes. MS is just the most targetted.

I bet Nintendo could take a massive dump in a box and people would line up and it would sell out instantly.

Oh yeah, they did. It's called a Wii.

Your mom should give birth to a child and then throw it in a dumpster so she can run off and have sex with more men for crack.

Oh yeah, she did. It's called Frank.

"I bet Nintendo could take a massive dump in a box and people would line up and it would sell out instantly."

People were saying that about SONY a couple of years ago! In fact, Sony said it themselves!

"We have built up a certain brand equity over time since the launch of PlayStation in 1995 and PS2 in 2000 that the first five million are going to buy it, whatever it is, even it didn't have games." - Sony Computer Entertainment Europe CEO David Reeves.

Not to forget the Wii and DS being fads! By definition a fad should have been over by now.

It's crazy what people can illogically think.

Completely understandable. I had an affair with a PSP for a while and missed out on some fucking magical DS and Wii games.

Playing either system and its easy to see how they could be doing so well.

Wii Fit: 1,762,193
Mario Party DS: 1,659,315
Wii Sports: 1,616,377

I know that my hardcore is hanging out when I say this but I feel really awful seeing those 3 'games' as the top selling of the last year, especially considering the sublime Mario Galaxy was released for the same console.

More generally I find it really is a shame that Nintendo on the back of these figures is going to focus more and more attention on the 'casual' market. I know that sounds selfish but I've always been a Nintendo fanboy and I'm finding it hard to accept that Ninty no longer cares about me.

ComradeTrotskii, I hope you realize how absurd you sound. What you said about video games is the equivalent of a movie fan complaining that the documentary "Planet Earth" is at the top of the cumulative Blu-Ray sales charts, and saying that movie studios will stop making action movies and focus more and more attention on nature documentaries!
