NATO_Duke @ Apr 4th 2008 10:01AM

CJLopez @ Apr 4th 2008 3:26PM
Just amazing, care to sell a little of that imagination of yours?
Mr Khan @ Apr 3rd 2008 9:07PM
If Capcom could put one Monster Hunter game out a month, they would own Japan forever

Is it getting hot in here or is it just me?
HB96st @ Apr 3rd 2008 9:26PM
it's just you...
But, is this news?? Numbers maybe, but who didn't know Big N was killing in the land of the rising sun? Who didn't know M$ was dead last?? We All knew.
Ihar `Philips` Filipau @ Apr 3rd 2008 9:40PM
You should check PS3fanboy.com time after time ...
;)
It is bit like watching political news: depending on TV channel, people see politicians in good or bad light. Or like reading commercial blogs e.g. M$ Windows blogs, which make you believe that Windows is very secure and stable OS. Same with consoles. Both PS3 and Xbox360 fanbois always manage to find something to spin their favorite consoles in positive light. And when comparing to Wii, there is no need to go too far to find something positive to spin.

And yet OSX, through Safari, was the first to fall to a hacking competition this year...
All OS's are hackable and have security holes. MS is just the most targetted.

I'll add you. I don't think I have yet ...
Anyway, what character do you usually use?
Gun Barrier (=Gamer Tag) SSBB: 3952-6696-7009 @ Apr 3rd 2008 9:37PM
i added you already, but i use Wolf, fox, lucario, and shiek.
Nerds With Attitude @ Apr 3rd 2008 9:33PM
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon? They've got Godzilla and Astro Boy roaming the streets, and they're playing Pokemon Mystery Dungeon?
Geist @ Apr 3rd 2008 9:39PM
They don't need to worry about Godzilla, Astro Boy is taking care of him.
Frank @ Apr 3rd 2008 9:36PM
I bet Nintendo could take a massive dump in a box and people would line up and it would sell out instantly.
Oh yeah, they did. It's called a Wii.
Geist @ Apr 3rd 2008 9:40PM
I see what you did there, you acted like a brainless troll. Well played and original, I wouldn't have thought of that kind of stuff normally.
tmacairjordan87 @ Apr 3rd 2008 9:42PM
call me immature but i got a slight chuckle out of it
playwhutyalike @ Apr 3rd 2008 9:46PM
Your mom should give birth to a child and then throw it in a dumpster so she can run off and have sex with more men for crack.
Oh yeah, she did. It's called Frank.
ChooChooCharlie (Brawl: 1504-5357-9285) @ Apr 3rd 2008 9:46PM
They could call it the Nintendump 64. I'd buy that shit.
Superstar90 @ Apr 3rd 2008 9:48PM
Until the last line you had something good. But then you added the troll. Not good.
Nerds With Attitude @ Apr 3rd 2008 9:49PM
you're immature
Jerk Face @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:08PM
@ playwhutyalike
Wait, what? LOL
ThePremierAssassin @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:52PM
Lol I'm an admitted Wii60 fanboy but that shit was funny...
Schmobu @ Apr 4th 2008 1:57AM
they tried something like that before it was called the virtual boy, it sold miserably.
Evan @ Apr 4th 2008 8:18AM
"I bet Nintendo could take a massive dump in a box and people would line up and it would sell out instantly."
People were saying that about SONY a couple of years ago! In fact, Sony said it themselves!
"We have built up a certain brand equity over time since the launch of PlayStation in 1995 and PS2 in 2000 that the first five million are going to buy it, whatever it is, even it didn't have games." - Sony Computer Entertainment Europe CEO David Reeves.

You missed the whole "pretending to be fernando" phase. Come up with something else.
May I suggest Mrs Nimblewick or Mr Nimbledick?
Sora267 @ Apr 3rd 2008 11:15PM
Speaking of Fernando...
*games list of both Wii and DS games even though the conversation at hand had to deal with one or the other, or in some cases neither at all*
lukeR @ Apr 3rd 2008 11:28PM
I'm confused??? I thought fernando buys toys made in Mexico NOT China...
Fernando Rocker @ Apr 4th 2008 12:27AM
Hi =p
Superstar90 @ Apr 3rd 2008 9:57PM
And some people thought Nintendo would go soft-ware only...
Mills and Boom @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:01PM
Not to forget the Wii and DS being fads! By definition a fad should have been over by now.
It's crazy what people can illogically think.
Vegeta (aka Ska Oreo) @ Apr 3rd 2008 11:08PM
No wait guys. Fads last until 10 years. Wii is still totally a fad.
samfish @ Apr 4th 2008 12:04AM
10 years? Shit, that's nothin'. The internet is still going strong after like 15 years.
Mills and Boom @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:00PM
Completely understandable. I had an affair with a PSP for a while and missed out on some fucking magical DS and Wii games.
Playing either system and its easy to see how they could be doing so well.
Sir Fidlious Wong (Zeon Defense Force) @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:08PM
Wow, expect this one to blow up with the usual suspects.... I see some already.
lukeR @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:23PM
*puts head to ground* they're close..
samfish @ Apr 4th 2008 12:06AM
Hi!
Crono (NDF - Knight of the Old School) @ Apr 4th 2008 10:07AM
I'd blow up on THAT suspect.
Hooray boobies!

Wii Fit: 1,762,193
Mario Party DS: 1,659,315
Wii Sports: 1,616,377
I know that my hardcore is hanging out when I say this but I feel really awful seeing those 3 'games' as the top selling of the last year, especially considering the sublime Mario Galaxy was released for the same console.
More generally I find it really is a shame that Nintendo on the back of these figures is going to focus more and more attention on the 'casual' market. I know that sounds selfish but I've always been a Nintendo fanboy and I'm finding it hard to accept that Ninty no longer cares about me.
mr nimblewick @ Apr 4th 2008 12:30AM
Here's hoping for "Mario is Missing 2."
Vidikron (FU) @ Apr 4th 2008 12:34AM
Yeah, those games blow. I'd personally add Pokemon to that list as well. But, hey, if Nintendo can rake in the cash selling crap... more power to them.
Evan @ Apr 4th 2008 8:28AM
ComradeTrotskii, I hope you realize how absurd you sound. What you said about video games is the equivalent of a movie fan complaining that the documentary "Planet Earth" is at the top of the cumulative Blu-Ray sales charts, and saying that movie studios will stop making action movies and focus more and more attention on nature documentaries!
