Two Worlds expansion Curse of Souls hits the Marketplace

While we doubt Oblivion will credit Reality Pump's Two Worlds as the wind beneath its wings, we still can't help but wonder if it's cold there living in the shadow of Bethesda's role-playing opus. Nevertheless, the lesser of the two open-ended RPGs continues to get love by way of downloadable content, the latest of which dropped today over Xbox Live.

Dubbed Curse of Souls, the 600 point multiplayer-focused affair is the game's second, following the already available Tainted Blood, and promises, among other things, an extra 10 hours of content spread over 35 new quests. The download also adds a player-versus-player arena throwdown in the town of Tharnburg, no doubt making for a thrilling spectacle for the handful of players still frolicking in the world of Antaloor as they wait for the game's recently confirmed sequel.

If I hadn't played Oblivion before this game, I might have actually played it or the demo, but a friend of mine told me how bad it was, and he hadn't even played Oblivion.

Why dont they do some single player stuff here. I doubt there are that many people itching to play this game online.

My thoughts exactly. The mp on this game doesn't interest me, however, I'd purchase single player DLC in a heartbeat.

Yeah..I had a little hope that this game would actually turn out to be decent as it seemed like it might be a reasonable alternative to an MMO on consoles.

Too damn bad it just sucks. Either Oblivion needs to get some sort of online patch, or they need to produce some good MMOs for consoles. At least the PS360 consoles. I'm not sure how well the Wii would do with an MMO.

'Alright what's your Wii code? Okay...what's your [insert MMO] code? Okay...what's the 20 digit code I need to join the guild? ... Okay, and what's the code to......' nintendo, I love you guys, but really?

i wouldnt mind a version of elder scrolls that let me and a friend explore the world, but an mmo would be stupid. Just like a kotor mmo is. I want the focus to remain on a fun single player story that doesnt involve countless dungeon raids and having to deal with other assholes. The player is supposed to be the star in these games and that why they are fun. p.s. isnt their a mp mod for elderscrolls IV already?

I remember being really excited for this game as I had played oblivion to death and gotten all the achievements including the shivering Isles.

Please dont compare this to a good game, perhaps one of the best games. ;) No achievements for this turd either? Go to the acheevo sites south peak and see how many glassy-eyed point whores would pay for this crap if you added achievements. (i include myself :( )
