Infinity Ward spokesman "fourzerotwo" (or Robert Bowling, to his parents) has announced that the new Call of Duty 4map pack will arrive at 6:30 PST, or 9:30 EST or, to put it in terms we can all appreciate: In 30 minutes. So watch a video or flip through the gallery, do whatever you have to do to prepare yourself. What's that sound like blood pumping out of your ears? That's you getting totally, absolutely pumped. ... Oh, also, there's blood pumping out of your ears. We should probably get you to a doctor. Think we can be back in a half hour? Come to think of it, can you drive yourself?
Once the maps drop (and you part with 800 points/$10) try to pull yourself away for a few minutes to come back and share your thoughts.
I'm not paying $10 for a few new maps. There should have been more to begin with. Bloc sucks ass, Bog is too small, Crossfire reminds me of Day of Defeat, Shipment shouldn't even be considered a map and most of the other maps are just Ok.
I like playing the game but CoD4 is a rippoff considering the $60 price tag and 3 hour single player game. For that fact alone the map pack should be free. Hopefully the new maps won't be sprinkled in with old ones during rotation or I'll get pissed when I get dropped every time a new map comes up. I'll just stop playing the game and forget about any game made by IW in the future regardless of how good it is.
Iridium, if you want to complain then talk to a psych, no one gives a shit if you don't like the game.
I can't even DL the map pack, or even add points, anyone else having this prob? I'm guessing it's from the massive amount of people trying to get this as well.
Not just you. I've tried it numerous times in the last few hours and it won't let me download these. Live is fine as I just played a few games, but I can't get the maps. Boo!
Is COD4 MP worth subscribing to Xbox live? I don't really have much free time to get my money's worth, but if COD4 is worth it even if it's for an hour a week I might have to think about it.
