We're of the sound opinion that not enough games let you control feeble old women on the verge of death. Thankfully, here comes The Graveyard, an art game by IGF-winning developer Tale of Tales, which places players in the role of an elderly woman visiting a cemetery.
The game is incredibly short and simple, but gorgeously rendered, and features a somber, original song as an interlude to the "gameplay." The free version is only a trial, and you can pay a measly five dollars USD for the full game. The only difference? In the full game the old woman may die.

Why do people think "somber + deals with death = art".
Arguments about art notwithstanding, this is a complete non-game and fails in all interactive and technical aspects.

I just downloaded it and thought WTF did I just waste bandwidth for? I'm trying to figure out how this can be classified as a "game".

This is a crappy press release with mild commentary to something that is only labeled a game so that lazy bloggers will talk about it.
Here are some links to other things that are also not games and more worthy of your time than this POS.

Boring.
I figured the trial version wouldn't offer much pull to buy the full - after all it's free - but then I read closer on the site and - that IS the 'game'? Except she can die? I suppose that means dying naturally.
This struck me as more of an interactive movie than a game, and since when are graphics like that 'gorgeously rendered'? Black and white automatically makes fairly bland 3d models look gorgeous?
There's no draw for this at all. As a short indie movie it looks pretty cool, but when you attach the label of 'game' to this it fails to impress.

I kept waiting for zombies to pop out of the ground to drag her under while you tap c to smack them in the head with your cripple cane skills... needless to say I was disappointed.

Hey, paying $5 to kill an old lady is cheap, unless something else does her in, then I'll feel ripped.

This game is severely lacking Falcon Punches, headshots, or lesbian space aliens. Very disappointing.
