IGN posts about Skate on Wii, then pulls story [Updated]
Oh, IGN, you so crazy. Yesterday, it was posting a story about Pandemic working on a Batman game and then promptly removing it. Today (well, technically last night) it's skate being ported to Wii and DS. The story apparently went up Tuesday and was soon removed.
What's interesting is that both the mysterious Batman project and skate are EA titles. So ... did IGN get some exclusive info and then let the bat out of the bag too early, deleting them moments before uncle EA could wrest his whippin' belt free from his dungarees? We're betting yes, but we'll almost certainly never know.

Skate + Wii = fugly.
Skate + DS = lousy controls.
How do they expect they can pull a story after it's been published, I mean as this article shows, what happens on the Internet stays on the Internet...forever. Even if you're not happy about it.

You notice how my comment gets voted down by all the fanboys, regardless of the fact that I am a Nintendo fanboy. Honest observations are not a crime. Skate's controls wouldn't work on DS without the dual analog, unless they just made it play like Tony Hawk, and regardless of the fact that it is a great system the Wii doesn't have the horsepower to handle this without some serious cutting down of graphic quality. They're just jealous cause I got first comment.

When i read the title i thought it meant IGN posted a story from their Wii.

Bat out of the bag? Is that a real phrase, or did you intend to say cat out of the bag?

Notice the other game IGN let slip.
Hint: it's Batman.

I guess IGN will soon be SKATE-ing on thin ice with EA, huh?
They've been SKATE-ing around the subject of leaking Wii information too much, eh?
We all know it's difficult to keep secrets in the year Two Thousand and SK8, right?
I'll stop now.

SKATE was good, but too many little things about it annoyed me to finish playing it. I'd love to see it continue and evolve or whatever, though.

I would love skate on the DS. I have always loved the Tony Hawk hand held games.

with balance board it could blow the other ones out of the water. On DS they don't need to use touch screen so it can control pretty much exactly like 360 did it does have same layout pretty much.
