While I'm grateful for the mod, after checking out the screens at the Epic forums its not as good as the other mods. I was hoping for a true next gen Samus.

Shut up. Its a mod... the fact that it exists is the most important part. Not how polished and refined it is... its NOT a game so dont' judge it like one. Its a mod.

How do you properly judge a mod then? I'm going to have to disagree with you. I think if someone is making a mod for a game it should be judged almost the same as a game. Afterall, in order for a mod to be a "good" mod I think you must judge it on the same principles we judge games. Things like playability, bugs, and yes sometimes graphics and overall execution. While I understand that this mod isn't making a profit and is the work of a single person in his or her spare time, all I was trying to get across in my statement was I've been dying to see a Samus Aran that could have been if Nintendo didn't go the route that it did this gen. My no mistake, I am grateful for its existence. I thought I made that clear in the first few words of my original statement. But perhaps not.

Either way, I did kind of blast my mouth of a little quick. I saw some better pictures else where the mod is better than I first thought. The proportions seem off so I'm certainly not in love with it.

A question to you: Have you ever disliked a mod? If the first batch of mods (Master Chief etc.) looked off would you have been disappointed? What valid reason do you have for not allowing anyone to dislike something that someone else created?

Ok, I'm definitely getting this game now. Can you play as these characters in the single player campaign or are the mods for only online play?

The mods are work for offline play and online play. But you cannot use them in the single player campaign.

Hmm... All we need now is somebody from a SEGA game and perhaps Solid Snake, and the World is UT3's Oyster...

Do this mods only works on the PS3 version? They don't work on the PC version????

Well, in that case this will be another must have on my future PS3 library.

Every mod is first available for the PC then cooked for the PS3. Just follow the links on the post to the websites, and you will find the PC version.

i wonder when nintendo will unleash their lawyers. regardless, the model looks really good. Weird clipping with her feet in that screenshot... looks like its going through the floor. probably unnoticeable during game play.

here's hoping the 360 version allows mods - as a former pc gamer, my favorite mod was the homer simpson mod for UT complete with sound effects!!
