What the hell, man? >_>;

The PS2 has a -ton- of fantastic soundtracks. Way more than most consoles just because of the sheer amount of games it has, but still.

Something about Megaman ZX really stood out for me, the ZX Tunes album is actually a favourite of mine.

Sonic Rush has an amazing soundtrack. I don't sit down to listen to it - that seems a little odd - but it's good music all the same.

I likened the music of Professor Layton. It reminded me of Amelie, which is a beautiful film.

One of the best soundtracks to come from a DS game is Luminous Arc. If you've never played it, RPGFan has a few samples and you can buy the CD import from a few places such as play-asia.com and amazon.com.

Metroid: Zero Mission

REALLY did justice to the original while giving it a new vibe and electricity. Love it so much.

Etrian Odyssey has a great soundtrack too. It's as soothing as it is mysterious and eerie.

I'm failing to get my hands on the soundtrack of the NEW FFIII. There seems to be only the ancient one. It's the best music I ever heard on the DS. Ah, and yeah:

Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Damashii!!

I'm surprised no one mentioned Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow. It's one of the best Castlevania Soundtracks ever.

Maybe it's because the game wasn't as popular as it should have been, but "Heroes of Mana" has such an amazing soundtrack and it sounds so good on the DS!

I second that. HoM had a great soundtrack due to the fact that it was composed by none other than Yoko Shimomura, the composer of Kingdom Hearts I & II.

The Nanostray games, Etrian Odyssey, Layton, Advance Wars: DoR, Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, Gundam 00, Megaman ZX, FFCC: Ring of Fates, New Super Mario Bros., Polarium, Meteos, Trioncube, Tetris DS and Ouendan are all great soundtracks. Hmmm... The DS has some really great soundtracks, it seems.

Sonic Rush is hands-down my favorite DS soundtrack.

I also really like the one for It's a Wonderful World/The World Ends With You, which I bought some time ago from Play-Asia. Can't wait to play the game itself :D

Both Castlevanias and Tetris DS are my two favorites. I like a few tracks on Mario Kart DS as well.

A set of decent headphones goes a long way with the DS. Koss's Porta Pro and Sennheiser's PX100 are my two favorites for my DS/PSP as they're collapsible.

Ace Attorney all the way (my ringtone was the Cornered! music from the first one for about 2 years), and Sonic Rush, but how can it suck since it is the guy who made the Jet Set Radio soundtrack?

I like FFIII for good music on the DS, but I also have to admit that Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga has great music as well, even though it is right out of the movies.

Um....what about Animal Crossing? Am I the only one who thinks K.K.'s jams rock?

Tetris, Kirby: Canvas Curse, Pokemon: D/P, and Final Fantasy IV. I know, I know, it hasn't been released in the states, but imports count, right?

Ouendan 1 & 2, as well. They're awesome.

Oh, yes. Layton's music is absolutely amazing! I think the "music" bonus feature is my favorite part of the game. :D

For some reason, I really liked Touch Detective's music.

Loved Etrian Odyssey and Phoenix Wright. Also liked Feel the Magic, Sonic Rush, New Super Mario Bros. and Dawn of Sorrow. Actually, now that I think about it, Feel the Magic's really deserves more attention.
