"Ages 5 and older" based on an M rated game. Awesome.
ThornedVenom (Harley Quinn Defense Force) @ Apr 7th 2008 1:11AM
Dunno about you, but I have a different conception of 18+ toys.
DangerMouse @ Apr 7th 2008 1:14AM
Liquid Snake?
j.howlett @ Apr 7th 2008 12:22PM
conan had a line of toys till the film was finished and was seen as to violent and sexual it got an R rating. then we got HE-MAN from those toys the the comic and tv show
Blue_Falcon @ Apr 7th 2008 1:00AM
Ages five and older? I guess companies are aiming to sell M rated games to minors afterall.
;)
A Pissed-off English Gamer @ Apr 7th 2008 9:31AM
It's like wrestling; the higher age-rating makes kids want to watch it more, then action figures come out and kids can no longer hide behind the age-rating as proof that it is not, in fact, designed for children. Except MGS is totally awesome, unlike wrestling.
j.howlett @ Apr 7th 2008 12:14PM
the tie in merchandise was planned before the game was rated. i remember some dumb kid wanting to sue spielberg cause he had the toys but his parents wouldn't let him see jurassic park cause it was rated PG-13. guess they didn't get the PG part
Kamizar @ Apr 7th 2008 4:44AM
He should zip that jacket up...

Vegeta (aka Ska Oreo) @ Apr 7th 2008 9:52AM
hmmm just want to say:
What did people think of Metal Gear Awesome 2?
personally I thought it was ok, but the original is definitely superior. What killed some of the humor for me is how much slower it was compared to MGA1. What was funny about the first one was how the MGS1 storyline was condensed in a 3 min flash cartoon with everything going super super fast. Sadly this isn't the case with the sequel. Also while funny, some of the jokes went on for far too long. ONe that comes to mind is the pissing scene(reminded me of a Family guy joke. That's not good). But it was still a decent vid.
Oh and also,
"YO B! SNEAK THAT SHIT!!!"
Haon @ Apr 7th 2008 11:03AM
OK!!
Haon @ Apr 7th 2008 11:04AM
OK!!
ZeroCorpse @ Apr 7th 2008 12:59PM
From the looks of that shirtless, buff doll up there, I think they should call the game "Metal Gear Homoerotic"
Of course, one could infer the same from the actual title "Metal Gear Solid" -- "Solid", huh? As in "Solid as a rock"?
You anime-loving fanboys sure do love your androgynous, long-haired, shirtless heroes, don't you?
driven2sin @ Apr 7th 2008 11:08PM
go put a yellow shield on ya ugly pimply face
Jared @ Apr 7th 2008 2:02PM
I so have that toy still! I was like 12 when I got it. Granted, all he has left are his fist to fight with, but it still sits on my dresser at home. I also have Solid Snake, sadly with none of his gear either.
