Worldwide PSP releases for the week of Apr. 6

So this week we're getting World Championship Cards ... funny thing is, we were supposed to get this game a month ago but obviously haven't. To make matters worse, despite being allotted a release this week, some retailers are listing dates for the end of the month. Given this game's continual delay, we wouldn't be surprised if it was pushed back yet again.

By now, does it even matter? Is anyone even going to pick this up? If a company can't even stick to a final date for their product, there wouldn't be much to expect out of their game. Dogs playing poker would probably be more entertaining.

So we've got gambling, chess, and puzzles. Wonderful. Three things done better in real life than in a videogame. Well chess is actually a good one; we wouldn't expect anyone to lug around a chessboard just to go one round at the airport. Nanpure & Oekaki Puzzle 1 is nothing special, unless you've been craving for sudoku and picross on your PSP.

were hella slow huh. psp has nothing to say now that crisis core and god of war is out. all these anticapated games for 2008 are already out. what a shame....they want the psp to last for 10 years yet they cant offer me a great selection. you know our psp is selling like crazy we all want more games. wheres devil may cry, resident evil, why cant you bring some japan games over to us like star ocean. why do you continue to make ape escape games???? why not final fantasy 7 or 10 for psp. did "N" ever come out did anyone buy it. i just feel like venting this world is getting on my nerves my psp is my escape when im not home and i feel like my psp is starting to dislike me more and more everyday.

you need more than new releases for the psp mate.

Honostly, you don't own every game that's ever came out on the PSP. Just becuase a title was made in 06 doesn't mean it's bad and doesn't mean you shouldn't buy it. That's your problem, you want 08 games. Go buy some old titles, becuase if the video game market worked like you're asking by throwing out games seven times a month the game selection would absolutely suck. You don't want that do you? You also have the PSN. There's no room for complaining. And the best of 08 isn't already over.

While I think the parent is going a bit overboard, I agree with a lot of what he says. Everyone has different tastes, and you need most then just a couple of great games if you want to appeal to a large audience.

I don't know any exact numbers, but when you look at a website like ebgames and you can see there are 7 pages of new games coming out for the ds and 3 for the psp it doesn't take a mathematician to tell that the psp is lacking in quantity. Now, quantity and quality are two different things, but as for me poker just isn't going to cut it.

Also, N+ doesn't come out till July (I'll be picking that one up).

oh yea and wheres the updates for kingdom hearts!!!

i emailed this guy and i got an automatic email saying "why buy each game? download unlimited games music movies etc."
people are getting used or new psp's and download there stuff free. "more venting more venting"
anyways i think these type of post should not be on here.

dudes, calm down, there is still more to come. you dont want them to rush kingdom hearts or dissidia, do you. i personally think FF CC and GOW COO is good enough, for quite some time (even if GOW is only 5 hours)

has any one completed CC, and how long did it take?

I love acronyms.

I took me 12 hours, but that included 1-2 hours of doing the side missions, which get very repetitive, and there's no real point to them (unless you want to get the last few summons for your DMW thing). Disappointingly short, but still a great game.

Its not the worst release Ive seen , but it doesnt compares with the CoO or CC week :P

Bah, I can't play cards alone. Thankfully I've got Size Matters and Dead Head Fred now in my possession, I'm set for a little while!

I have been eagerly awaiting World Championship Cards myself. By far my most played Gameboy Advance game was Ultimate Card Games. (Which in theory has a DS version coming out, it's also been as delayed as much as WCC).

Card games are perfect for portable systems, since they are usually fairly short and you don't have to think all too much.
