I'm pretty much in the same boat. The wow factor for this game better be there. Hopefully we won't be dissapointed.

This "Super moderator" is actually a student from australia and doesn't seem to have any real contact with the staff from Remedy. In the post he links in his signature he comments a blog quote containing an interview with a PR manager "Cool find, ADM. I guess we'll have to keep an eye on that blog more often."
So why should I trust this one singular comment?
On the other hand, so what. Gimme more info.

I care... I have high hopes for this one and I love the genre, but..well..I'd like to know a TON more about this damn game.

The 'survival horror' scene seems to be getting some cred this year.. Resident Evil 5, Silent Hill V, Alone In The Dark and Alan Wake..but I would love more info on pretty much all of them!

To clarify, all the administrators and mod team (apart from Juoko) do not work directly for Remedy, though we do communicate with them regarding the fan community and specific events.
I use that link in my sig as it is the latest estimate for a release date we have (note it is given by Microsoft, not Remedy).

I didn't count on one innocent comment making the internet go crazy, but it does show just how anticipated the game is at the moment.
