yeah that woulda taken quite a while

first theres the actual animation, which is all frame by frame.
looked like it might have been in flash too

but the hard part would be getting it all to be in synch with the movement of the piece of paper, thats some nice after effects skills there. :)

Yeah, it looks like the "game" was animated in Flash, and layered on top of the video of him "playing" the Paper DS. Very cool, still.

I find it interesting how this video was inspired by Mini-Bash's (nickname for Brian "Bashcraft" Ashcraft's son) desire to have a black DS Lite (since the only one they have at home is a pink one).

It's even more amusing how Mini-Bash responded to the video:
