Take a video tour of the Call of Duty 4 Variety Map Pack

Looking for a good way to plan Call of Duty 4 strategies while you're away from your Xbox 360? Our sister site Xbox 360 Fanboy has put together a 5 1/2-minute walkthrough of the new Variety Map Pack, which includes Broadcast, Chinatown, Creek and Killhouse.

As for the future of the Variety Map Pack, Infinity Ward blogger extraordinaire Fourzerotwo has commented on his blog that the dev is now focusing on bringing the maps to the PlayStation 3 and PC. No specifics for the PC version, but the PS3 maps are due out at the end of April.

not going to lie....the creek map pisses me off to no end...it's like Bloc part 2...

Yeah. At least with Bloc you can take the alternative and sneak around with a Shotty / Dead Silence / UAV Jammer. Creek, if you don't have a long range rifle you are completely screwed. Can't stand this map!

Use the tunnel. I just spent the last few matches with a silenced weapon and rocked em. Its not that bad.

rip off by the way, wish i never bought it. one remake from cod 2, one straight out of single player, one actual original decent map, one tiny map you'll never play.

I love Chinatown and Killhouse! Creek would be at the top of the list, if it wasn't for all those nasty town folk.

i think these maps are great. I still havent played the tiny map yet, the training styled one.

As for being screwed without a sniper, hardly. the level rocks if you learn it. its already my favourite. getting on average 19 kills per game.

Did anyone else notice that Chinatown is the exact same map as a COD2 map, i can't remember what it's called, but it is the exact same layout.

Yes, Infinity Ward has made it clear that it is a remake of an old one. However I heard that two of the other maps are also remakes from COD1 or something. The only one that is new is the one that is ripped out of the single player campaign. A bit of a rip off it seems. But I'd prefer if they fixed the online bugs so that parties would stick together instead of retexturing old maps and claiming they are new.
