(I'm aware is a good game but this week is about Ikaruga)

I already own it for the Dreamcast but the online co-op will have me buying it again...

I'm able to get through levels 1-3 just fine, but then level 4 is the real KILLER. It's a good thing you get more continues the more often you play the GC game so that that part actually becomes passable. When you reach infinite continues at about ten hours or so, you can actually play it with a friend without him screwing you over!

I'm glad now that I never actually managed to get my hands on a copy of Ikaruga for the GC, because that would have been more expensive and lacking in features of the XBLA version.

I'm really excited about this old(ish) game.

A buddy of mine won't shut up about Icaruga, now that the game has online co-op I might just give it a shot.

Glad I sold my Dreamcast copy for 100 bucks when I did! :p

getting through the levels is nothing. let me know when you can full chain them.

i used to be able to chain the first two stages, way back when on the DC. it's about time i had a game to waste my life on again.

I'm sure everyone has seen the clip of the guy playing the arcade version using two ships at once to take down the 5th level without being hit. Someone should post that godly skill here, i'm late for work LOL.

Will Ikaruga be in HD? That would finally give me a reason to buy a 360.

ahh, the game that i saved my money for instead of buying the COD maps. totally worth it tho...
