Sega Superstars Tennis gets Xbox Live demo

Have you always had a dark fantasy about watching Space Channel 5's Ulala play hot, sweaty tennis against Sonic's squeeze Amy Rose? If so, you repulse us, and we think everybody would be more comfortable if you'd just leave. Seriously, there's a back door, just slip out. No, no you can't say goodbye to everyone, just get out.

But before you go we also have good news for you! There's a demo for Sega Superstars Tennis on Xbox Live, so you can fulfill your primal, forbidden urges gratis. ... But you probably need to pay to watch it, don't you? Otherwise it's just not wrong enough. We just threw up in our mouths a bit, thanks so much for that.

This is on sale at GameCrazy for $30 new and $20 used. Should be that price for another week or so.

I still think that a game being made by Sega, with the connotation Superstars (note the plural) would mean there would truly be more then one Superstar in the Sega stable, that would attract the mainstream audience.

It's kind of like how they put together a greatest hits package for Britney Spears. Not only did that incite that there was at least one hit, but in fact... more then one hit. That's just crazy talk.

Amy Rose is not Sonic's main squeeze. This has been proven time and time agian throughout the series, as Sonic always runs away from her or want nothing romanticly to do with her.

So get your facts straight, Joystiq.

This game has dropped in price since a week after its release. At this rate, it'll be 10 bucks in a week.

Also, is Ecco the Dolphin a playable character? What about Toe Jam and Earl? Bonker? No?...

I'm a little disappointed at how limited the roster is too, myself, but, the classic era is not entirely ignored: Gillius Thunderhead (the dwarf from Golden Axe) and Alex Kidd are unlockable.

The Game Crazy promotion is only temporary, and also applies to two other Sega titles on the system--Viking: Battle for Asgard and Condemned 2: Bloodshot.

Being the only one to comment yet who HAS played the game, I must say that it's really fun. And to those who think there is only one 'superstar' in it, this is SEGA SUPERSTARS. These are the people who are memorable from great Sega games. Of course, since there's a HUGE prejudice against Sega, you probably won't enjoy this game and wait for the next 'Mario and Friends play a game of tennis' game. How many Mario sports games do we need? The answer? Not another one.
