News reporting of the situation that caused grief is fine, but we need a system that follows up on news stories so that we don't just live in a world where we say to each other, "That's awful." Why do we want to tell each other "that's awful"? That's not how I want to live my life. I want the same reporting agency that reports a crime to go to the jail where the bad people are held and ask them more questions. WHY did you do this? WHAT circumstances brought it about? Was there anything else going on in your life that pissed you off to the point where you lashed out with the stick in your hand and destroyed a child? Obviously there's more to it than the type of game being played

If we could get FOLLOW UPS on these stories, we on this planet could say things to each other that are more helpful than "That's awful." Let's make a world where we say to each other, "I'm glad I knew that; now this can't happen in MY family."

This site's software cut off my parenthetical comment:
The media has yet to tell us what kind of game it was. We don't know if the game was educational or not.

That...animal is a coward. Taking his issues out on a defenseless two year old... he deserves a fate worse than death, take everything he ever had away from him. His pride, honor, clothes, rights, option of suicide... everything. Make him live with the knowledge that he killed that child in cold blood, make that event haunt his memories for the rest of his poor pathetic excuse for a life...
