whether or not this is a fake, which it probably is, the fact that it's an NTSC disc being used by someone in the UK doesn't necessarily mean that it's not legit, he could be using a US console or something of that sort. Perhaps he bought a core system as they where cheap and he could hack it open and muck about with it so it can play NTSC disc whilst his proper system sits happily with it's warrant, but who knows, speculations ahoy. Furthermore the fact he's only played this game for 1 day since having it and not unlocking any achievements suggest to me that either he is a very poor gamer or else was attacked by someone who found out he had GTA IV early and stole it from him.

Personally the fact that it's a ridiculous disc image bothers me little as it'll probably get a cursory glance when the game arrives at my door and then will spend most of its time spinning very quickly inside my xbox where noone will get to see it and even if they could it'd just be a blur.

i was excited that reading that someone got gta iv early. not in hopes that it would reach torrents soon enough or anything, but this is an obvious fake. the white of the GTA logo doesn't match the white of the ESRB logo at all. They should be the same. the gta logo and the rockstar logo are a bit too crisp, and that background graphic is pretty shitty for a disc, like others say. please update this xbox360fanboy article, dustin. stop the rumor fire before it spreads.

looked at the pic and 360voice... he's got a hdd... look at the curved bezel at the top of the picture. The CORE HDD filler plate is flat.

As for 360voice.... it will only blog an entry if you pop a game into the system - the timestamp is: 4/8/2008 1:31:59 AM and you can't manually add a blog entry - I tried.

I can't remember many 360 games that have the game title to the side. It's usually on the bottom in the center.

I also can't imagine them putting a face in the disc hole.

I also believe it's true that newer discs say "Live" and not "Xbox Live" as pointed out earlier.

Well, I want to say its a fake, but the fact that its on 360voice.com tells me its not, it has a time stamp and everything as for him not playing it, well hello, we all know xbox will ban you quickly if they feel the need he put it in his box, realized NO ONE ELSE HAS THE FUCKING GAME, probly got like 75398475398024 messages from his friends screaming into a mic some horrible noise, and it just whacking away at the single player right ...now. As for the diso logo argument, yea I think they changed it but at the same time, this shit was done for the 360 months ago it was a duel launch from thw ps3 which held it back so maybe possibly kinda maybe it was made before they changed it, compounding this fact is that rockstar is expecting a 400,000 launch date sale. So next tuesday 400,000 of us will be playing this bitch, so yea, if I had to make 400,000 dics I wouldent wait till the week before. Those are the facts and you should stick to them, the dis immage is horrible i agree but really who gives a fuck, it could really be legit, and many facts point to that conclusion, and all we have to say its a fake is, that the logos look bad and his xbox has a mustache, I say its real....much to my torment.-Peace
