Hey, funny things are eternal. I'm still waiting for Seinfeld Dating Sim.

Finally, a game aimed squarely at my specific demographic... Attractive people who enjoy cool games about crazy internet cartoons.

Very similar to my demographic as well:
Attractive People who Enjoy.

I still enjoy Homestar Runner. I welcome this!

There's a blast from the past.
why not the LS2LS7? @ Apr 10th 2008 11:14AM
So now we know... WiiWare is a home for flash games.

And Joystiq comment boards are a house for twits.

I know you are, but what am I?

Oh snap. I... I really can't compete with such a clever individual. I concede to your incredible wit.

I think the only way to respond to this is; TROGDOOOOOOOR!!! TROGDOOOOOOR!!!
AcidMonkey @ Apr 10th 2008 11:29AM
Yeah, well if it gives us something to do on the wii, bring it on! I still enjoy Strongbad, though I don't keep up on it as much.
Matt @ Apr 10th 2008 11:32AM
Ugh. Can we please stop with the punned run-on inane titles? What Borat did was funny at the time, but man are they are old now and no longer funny. I feel like I waste my time reading that crap.
"Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People"
"Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan "
"Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters"
"I am America and So Can You" Stephen Colbert
Even Penny Arcade is bordering on the frivolous side with a worthless title that somehow conveys the pretentiousness of wanting to try and sound important.
"On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness"
Hot$auce_Magik @ Apr 10th 2008 11:54AM
Why must people manifest themselves on stupid shit like this? Do you get all uppity every time a game or movie uses one of the HUNDREDS of cliche's? Like the totally epic overdone title? Or the one with the pointless subtitle? Its a joke and meant to be funny. Just get a chuckle out of it and move on. Theres really no need to dwell on this stuff...
Kewlrats @ Apr 10th 2008 12:14PM
I agree. We should stop using the name "Matt" as well.
It's just soooo 1997 Geocities!
MasterInsan0 @ Apr 10th 2008 12:49PM
I think the Strong Bad game is the odd man out of those titles. It's not unnecessarily long, it just describes what the game is. It's no longer as a title than, say, "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2" or "Puzzle Quest Challenge of the Warlords: Revenge of the Plague Lord".
The other ones, yeah, they're being unnecessarily weird or pretentious (or both). In the end, though, it'll all boil down to "the Strong Bad game". just like the others boil down to "Vegas 2" and "the Puzzle Quest expansion".
AcidMonkey @ Apr 10th 2008 12:49PM
@Kewlrats; Oh-snap
@Matt: You should find something worth complaining about if you absolutely have to complain. It just seems a bit much to deserve a full on rant IMO. It's like complaining about how the sky's blue again, and damn it, blue is SO yesterday. And the day before.

Not Rick, although I do love that song.
cjshrader @ Apr 10th 2008 12:20PM
I'm a big Homestar fan but I would just feel weird paying for their content. We'll see what the game is like before I make judgments though.
cjshrader @ Apr 10th 2008 12:23PM
From the press release:
"...and the games are fully voice acted by Matt Chapman and the rest of the original cast. "
The rest of the original cast? You mean Missy? And sometimes Mike Chapman? That's about all there is.
Martez @ Apr 10th 2008 12:42PM
If it's funny, I'll bite. I like funny things.
LaughingTarget @ Apr 10th 2008 2:00PM
No you don't. We all know you're a sour person who gets angry when he laughs. The fact you keep your kitty as a homeless box cat is proof. That is kitty's punishment for making you laugh.
Martez @ Apr 10th 2008 2:10PM
Why you always gotta make Tez cry, LT? :(
LaughingTarget @ Apr 10th 2008 2:22PM
Fun, easy, profitable. :)
Jeremiah Moon @ Apr 10th 2008 1:00PM
I believe the proper response is "hell yes."
I can't imagine how anyone could dislike HsR.

How can you play your game with boxing gloves on?
Crapfully yours,

I was wondering if people were still into HSR. I had a good time checking out the e-mail archives this morning.
hvnlysoldr @ Apr 19th 2008 9:04PM
My brother and I love Home Star Runner. I think he still goes there.
