No Country was horrible. I usually "get" these types of movies but this felt like it could have been a short 45 minutes in length and not missed anything.

No Country For Old Men is a flawless movie. It's not the best movie ever made, but it is as close to perfect as a movie can get. I wouldn't change a single frame, a single line or a single casting choice and hope to improve that movie.

Road House is dope too. [sheds a tear for the Swayz]

You get two weeks to start it. Once you hit play, the timer changes and you've got 24 hours from that point.

So, don't start watching it until you're sure you can get through it within that short period. :)

The time sucks, but it's not Microsoft's fault. The movie industry pressures all sorts of digital download content (Xbox Live Marketplace, Amazon Unbox, iTunes) to impose this 24 window of watching, to sync up with what you tend to get from Pay-Per-View cable systems. It's crap.

That being said, I love me some XBLM. :D

no country was terrible due to the ending. yes I get it....

*spoilers*

Theres no country for old men and hes too old to catch his last crook and he failed and lifes a bitch we get it.

The point is they also wasted my life with that movie. Such a great story up until the end which was just BS. Im sorry but If I wanted realistic crap like that to happen I would not watch movies. The flaw in the movie is that the spent the whole movie building up these characters for nothing who all did nothing and meant nothing in the end. They didnt even show the protagonists death scene, or at least give him a standoff death scene. What a bad movie, that could of been so great.

Spoilers

I actually I don't think you do get it. First the protagonists death is perfect. Imagine if they had shown it your way, he would have been in his room, got a shot off and then been gunned down instead we see it from the Sheriffs view and wonder what happened as he walks up, it builds tension.

Second its a reflection of how crazy our world has gotten. You hear the story about the couple killing and so forth. At the end you hear his dream
"And in the dream I knew that he was goin on ahead and that he was fixin to make a fire somewhere out there in all that dark and all that cold, and I knew that whenever I got there he would be there. Out there up ahead. And then I woke up."
Relate the story to the movie and the dark and cold is the crazyness and the fire is hope. But then the sheriff woke up and retired.

Third Chigurh was able to justify killing by using the coin, but for Norma Jean who wouldn't call it, he killed her himself. After that he crashed his car and had to ask the kids for stuff. A big change from
the Chigurh who blew up a car to get medicine.
