If only the game had a better story,I mean what's wrong whit Aliens invading in I don't know during the 80's or 90's but during WWII now that's just plain stupid.

You know, since you seem quite ignorant, i'll give you a bit of military history. Nations often use internal turmoil as a window of opportunity for an invasion. A destabilized country has a much harder time defending itself than a stable one. (see Mexican-American war, this is why we have, basically, the entire southwest United States). So it would make perfect sense, hypothetically for da alienz to invade earth during WWII while the world was in turmoil.

I never liked the concept of WWII with Aliens since is probably the most stupid and insulting concept around but the game is cool but damn the story sucks.

I'm really, really looking forward to INFAMOUS, but it had a trailer that sucked beyond all belief, too. Even if Resistance 2 and INFAMOUS are great games, nobody will recognize them for what they are with promotion like this.

Heh, don't hate because Live, a service you actually paid money for, is crippled and can't handle big multiplayer matches and doesn't have dedicated servers.

The first game was very good, I can see other view it as generic fps, but it is good start for Insomaniac, and for PlayStation brand who lacked a good exclusive fps game. I cetainly believe in Insomaniac talents to make the second installment a lot better.
IMO, this is similar to what happened when Xbox launched with excellent fps Halo, and when Halo 2 came later.

WOW just WOW........ I remember not to long ago Joystiq basically creaming their respective pants over Halo 3 footage. Albeit, only a trailer (pre-rendered as it was) similar to the Resistance 2 trailer, they LOVED it. Well I guess we all know, as always, Joystiq really kind of has this sick, weird, love for Major Nelson and Billy. Kind of sad Joy, actually really sad. The trailer looked decent to me, thats why they call them trailers. What do ya' want for nothin' a RRRRRRRRRRRRUUUUUUUBBBBBEEEERRRRRRRRRR BISCUIT.

Seems that Sony hasn't gotten the memo to fire their advertising department. Just as bland and lacking real content as the PS3 ads. Sure it's flashy and all, but it doesn't really say anything. And it certainly won't convince someone to buy the game or a PS3.

Actually, no I wasn't trolling. I was, however, being critical of the ad because functionally it was no better than the PS3 ads that aired in the US. And for every person you say is excited for the game, what about the many that aren't? Ad hominems and discarding unfavorable data don't work on me.

C'mon, this game is Slightly above average.. If it was on the 360, it would have no hype about it. The few of my friends who also own ps3's said the first either said it was weak or just "okay"..

And how you can say a game is slightly above average after seeing a 10 or so second teaser I would really like to know, would save me £1000s a year on games if I had insight like that.
