Have yet to pickup Forza Motorsport 2 simply because your video game allowance has been in the red for the past year? If so, we have good news, because Microsoft just announced that the retail price for Forza 2 has dropped to a rather nice $29.99 in the U.S. Heck, for that price, you may even want to throw in the Forza 2 shifts a retail gear to $29

I haven't checked recently but ebay use to be flooded with this game + Marvel Alliance going for less than $30 ever since it came in the bundle.

This is a horrifically boring racing game and it looks like an Xbox 1 game to boot. Give me DiRT anyday, RIP Colin MCrae.

cant agree with you more mate, dirt was fantastic. i was very disseminated with forza2 when i tried it first, the graphics and arcady feel felt like it was an xbox1 title, not something nextgen.

Man, I can't disagree more with some of these comments and given the incredibly devoted fanbase of the title I have to imagine a lot of people agree with me.
It's not boring, it controls fine with a controller (no different than most racing games, although the wheel is a lot of fun) and it definitely looks better than an original Xbox game. Give me a break.

Is it true that the wheel isn't that great though? I've heard a couple bad reviews about it and other things like the turning radius is short and such.
It sucks that MS forces you to buy this wheel since no other wheel will work for the 360, just this one. It would be much better if you could use the Logitech G25 or any other steering wheel like the PS3 can

The wheel's a mix. It's not BAD, but it's not amazing. The turning radius is small, but it feels fine for racing. The force feedback is very good and adds a lot. The build quality's good. Maybe not quite as good as some of the more-expensive wheels, but good for the price. I really like the pedal design, since you can use your heels to hold the pedals in place.
The biggest complaint I have about it is that the lap pad is too small for my lap (and I'm not a massive guy), so it's not as comfortable as it could be. And the tabletop mount is odd, so it might be tough to find a table it works well with. Also, it has no equivalent to the right analog stick, so you're giving up the ability to look around.
FWIW, I believe the 360 actually will allow some other USB racing wheels, but none will get the full force feedback information that the official wheel has.

Well opinions are like assholes I guess. Just because I throw in my 2 cents on a game you don't have to get all bent out of shape, Tony.
Ever think about why they bundled this game in with the 360 along with Marvel Ultimate Alliance ,and are now getting a 50% price drop? Hmm... I wonder...

@Neuromancer How do you know he was only addressing your comment idiot? And you gave your opinion so he was just giving his, at what point does it look like he was getting bent out of shape?
Anyways, so Forza Motorsport 2 may not be for everybody. It may scare away casual gamers, but it's still a great racing sim for people who appreciate them. I don't know why you would complain about the graphics out of all the things, I own both Forza 1 and 2 and Forza 2's graphics are far from the original one. But even if it still doesn't have prettier graphics like DiRT, how does that make it a worse game? I appreciate the other details in the game like the cars, sounds, customization, etc.
And what does the price drop or bundling have to do with anything? It's one of the best racing games for the 360, if not the best, so they decided to bundle it. So what? It's not like they'd bundle a crappy game for people who just bought the 360. And it's been out for a while, so it's about time they dropped the price on it. DiRT came out later and it still only costs $10 more

I agree with you Tony. I couldn't disagree more with everybody else. Certainly with the comment about DIRT > Forza 2. I bought DIRT thinking it was going to be the greatest racing game ever, but it gets so repetitive after a while.
$29 for the best racing game on the Xbox? Now thats a darn good deal.
Oh and lol at it looking like an original xbox game. It looks, sounds, feels, and plays better then any racing game on the 360, mabye even better then Gran Turismo.

Not to mention the customization and real time damage kicks ass. Not that these make a game but they immerse you really well.

It's currently going for $20 new at Futureshop in Canada, and it's been $19.99 used at EB Games here for the last couple weeks as well.... and yes, that's Canadian dollars too. :D

I still love this game, as for it being repetitive, gee don't you end up on the same track doing the same thing in all racing games at some point? What a moronic statement. This is a great game and I still plan on playing it for a long time to come.

Wow, you must not be very intellectual or have very poor reading skills if you can't read 3 paragraphs. I have to wonder why you're on Xbox 360 Fanboy then since the articles might be too hard to read for you
