Coming out of nowhere, a single off of Mötley Crüe's new album will be available as Rock Band downloadable content this week. This marks the first time a brand-new song is released as a playable track in the game. Needless to say, it is a master track.
"Saints of Los Angeles" - Mötley Crüe (80 MS points/ $1)
We've placed what we believe is the song after the break -- we're not sure if there's an actual video yet. The rest of this week's Rock Band DLC was previously announced last Friday. The song releases tomorrow on Xbox 360 and this Thursday on the new PSN.
"Oh hey Neversoft, how's it going? Oh, Def Leppard? A new song? That's nice, hey listen, we're just going to cockblock you a little bit, that okay? Thanks!"
I've 160 MS Points on my account so I might pick it up. That is... if I ever find a way to get Rock Band DLC because the damn thing won't let me inside the Music store where the DLC is because Family Settings block me from entering there and get the DLC. What the hell?
The strangest thing is, I still download games from the Marketplace, but I can't see the DLC for Rock Band. Double what the hell...!?
I'm hoping this will show Mötley Crüe how awesome it would be if they made a six-pack release of "Live Wire," "Looks That Kill," "Girls, Girls, Girls," "Wild Side," "Home Sweet Home," and "Kickstart My Heart."
