See this Metal Gear Solid 4 Bluetooth headset, Snake. Snake? SNAKE!

Getting us all one step closer to our very own direct Codec link with the Colonel, comes this Metal Gear Solid 4-styled Bluetooth headset for, well ... ostensibly for the PS3 but – seeing as how this is a Bluetooth headset – you could use it with your regular old cellphone. You and Otacon can talk about love on the battlefield for up to eight hours from up to 30 feet away from your PS3.

This headset should be in stores just in time for the game's release on June 12 and – considering how similar it looks to Microsoft's Xbox 360 Wireless Headset – it should come as little surprise that it will carry the same $59.99 pricetag. To paraphrase the great Solid Snake, "we don't believe in coincidences."

pretty slick but I will stick with my regular old motorola head set ... at least you could use it outside of the PS3 ... although someones dork alert might go off

that looks pretty sleek. I love my wireless 360 headset. Unfortunetly I ran over it with my chair the other day and it wont turn on now :(.

This is kind of silly. You can use any old bluetooth headset with the PS3. And you sure as tits won't catch me wearing that thing out in public.

C'mon Mr. Grant. The only similarities to the 360 version is the ear hugger. It's pretty standard as are most human ears. The 360 version is more Star Trekish than MGS. But if you need to drag the 360 into this thread for some reason... by all means...it' your site.

It also has the same speaker case. It looks a lot a like the 360 head set. Just some cosmetic shell.

I agree....I guess headphones (music ones) that have a ear hugger are similar to 360 headsets...even though they came out before...

Same ear hugger loop, same soft speaker covering instead of an in-ear thing. Really, this looks far more similar to the Xbox 360 wireless headset than any Bluetooth headset I've seen. You disagree?

I can't decide which is more embarrassing: the fact that you're wearing a bluetooth with a video game logo on it, or the fact that you're wearing a bluetooth.

I live in America and I don't find that to be acceptable grammatically. Also, what's the matter with Bluetooth headsets? It's like all those jerks that refused to get cellphones finally caved in and they need something new to remain distrustful of.

These actually look pretty nice but 59.99? not worth double the price of a decent headset or the same price as the game itself.

This was posted on another site for being fake. Where's the proof this is real? It looks like a fan-made mock-up based of the 360 headset.

And that other site retracted that statement with a story called "Oh, the headset's real."

Is this what Slippy ended up making for Snake?
