definitely not... im sticking with the original SarcasticGamer.com strike and not giving them any money...

We as a community shot them down by killing one income generator... Well, im gonna keep another $60 away from them by not buying it... I hope everyone else will do the same...

Plus cmon, we have COD4, RB6V, Halo3 and many other games... These guys really kept it kosher... I hope everyone will stand against EA and do the following:

1. rent the shit
2. dont buy the shit
3. steal the shit (lets hope not this one lol... im looking at you gamestop employees!)

nope, too many other games, too many better games, too many games that don't follow an economic model that I despise coming out for me to waste time with this piece of EA garbage.

I agree Fenix...

Plus I don't know if this has been confirmed by DICE or not but is GOLDRUSH the ONLY Multiplayer Mode that will come with the game?

If so I'm sorry to say this but I will NOT be getting the game then. The game's single player may be awesome or w/e but the Multiplayer is the real reason I'm interested in this game since DICE apparently has a good track record when it comes to that. Also with the new/kinda revolutionary damage system the game provides a lot of entertainment.

However it still has a lot of significant flaws which is why I won't buy it as of now.

Plus the whole weapons fiasco is retarded. So yeah EA you'll give me the weapons for free...but I've got to give you access to my email?

FUCK EA.

Nope... I pledged yes to the boycott, and while they've added the stuff in for freeses, this game still doesn't get my wallet vote.

Maybe next time EA, unless of course next time is Madden or NCAA Episode 20XX... then not next time either.

Not entirely sure yet. Though I think perhaps. Considering May, June, July (Not counting Soul Calibur 4 on the 29th as july, Thats practically waiting for August) are totally empty for my 360 for new releases, I may just end up picking this up.

The game is actuallly looking pretty good, and the trailers so far are pretty entertaining. Here's hoping they release a demo of this soon, cause I definitely want to play this. Sure this game isn't doing anything new, but I do like the idea of blowing shit up.

And on the boycott:
I have to side with Joystiq on this one. I find this boycott to be incredibly useless and retarded. I'd understand some of you guys points if these guns affected the quality of the game or gave a huge advantage to people who bought the guns, then I'd understand and I'd be all for this boycott. But after watching comparison vids, that's not the case. People who don't buy the special edition cd can still enjoy the game even with the inclusion of the locked guns. So you have two choices, you can just not buy the game, or if you're interested in it you can just buy the game and refuse to pay for the extra content. It's as simple as that. Call me what you want, but I'm just looking at this without jumping on the bandwagon. The game actually does look fun, and I'm not going to let some shitty guns stop me from enjoying myself.

I got my beta key, played for about a half hour and the controls felt all wonky, took about 8 clips, 3 grenades and a falling MLB spy satellite to kill someone, and don't even get me started on the vehicle hogs. Besides when I want to stab I would prefer a single button not put gun in holster, pick up knife, place knife pointing away from your body, then press the fire button and end up missing. Wasn't planning on buying it before, still won't buy it. I know it is a beta but still it feels broken.

seems like hating just to hate - it boils down to a bunch of fanboys here - the beta is really good and a hell of an actual 'game' experience.

Read the reviews, most everyone comments on how tight the balance of sides can get and the constant action even though you can slip away and lone wolf it if you want...

stop with the stupid DLC boycott - those items aren't even any good - it was a dumb idea - just let it die - no one is buying those items, people will get some free from different pre-orders.. i preorded from gamestop so i get the sniper code but the freely unlockable one is better so who cares?

grow up people

I am not buying this game because it is just not fun. Frontlines: Fuel of War on Xbox live is really the next step for people who enjoyed BF:MC. If you were disappointed with the BF:BC beta check out Frontlines. There is a update coming out for it next week which will take Frontlines from a very good squad based game to a great game. If you are remotely interested in BF types games you owe it to your self to check out Frontlines.
...Frontlines...

I can't wait for this game! The beta rocks and I can't understand that people are going to let a few crappy guns get in the way.

Even if they just made all the DLC guns normal unlocks, I wouldn't even touch them. They make the starter guns look awesome.

Lame. Trailer. What is it about a soldier sitting down in the middle of a battle zone calmly spouting generic war time dissidence thats supposed to entice me to buy this game? "The Army sure ain't what it used to be..." Aw, poor Clarence. If only the Army could be as fun and supportive as it was when you were in Vietnam. Gag.

Ha! These comments are great...I thought this game would garner much more positive attention than it has.

I also had the displeasure of being in the beta and what once was a game I thought I had to have became a game I know I'll never look at again. Absolutely horriblle in comparison to what's out there today.

Maybe Frontlines is the next BF, because BF:BC only allows 24 measly players on maps the size of Mexico. Not only that, but of the 12 players on each team, 8 of them are in vehicles! What a complete joke.

Bravo, EA...bravo for continually proving what a piece of trash you are as a company. The Wal-Mart of video games strikes again.

I don't think i'm gonna buy this game just cuz EA is not giving the weapons entirely free! Besides this game will have to @ least get a 9/10 for me to give EA my $$$ - if anything i'll buy it when in becomes a Platinum Hit or i find it really freakin cheap. EA u suck!!!!!

I refuse to buy any game from EA, especially this one. It was one of the worst games I have played and just the thought of EA thinking about charging for weapons still disgusts me.

Sorry. Too little damage control too late. EA took us for dummies, got raped for it, now they need to learn that there is no reward for being sorry. They're only sorry because they got called out and the extra money that would have been reaped from the idiots that did buy the DLC was just not worth the bad PR ruining their launch and overshadowing the game. EA is thinking of it's bottom line here nothing else so FUCK THEM.
