It seems really slow at loading images for me - might just be teething problems though.

Nah bro I downloaded the update and it all working perfectly. I love this new look. And the chime sound it makes when you maneuver around the store.

The images will likely load up faster once they're downloaded and put into your cache.

Hey Fenix,
since you have access to both stores and are slightly biased towards Live...I am curious as to what you think of the new store.

Thanks
PS
if you have HSG5, I love to play and welcome a game.

Get the demo from the EU store. If you are a fan of HS, it is worth it.

We should do what Joysqiq did for Brawl and throw together a PSNID thread for the MGO beta.

Mine's heypaul, if anyone wants to add me.

OK Fenix. Yet I need you to understand that I'll be telling everyone how bad I owned you at GT anyway, I'm sure you won't have a problem with that.

No problems here. 1st time I loaded it up, no problems. Second time, no pictures, since then, loads up right away and soooo easy compared to the old store.

I was one of those who thought the old store was fine. Now, I realize that I HATED the old store compared to this beauty.

Cannot wait for thursday and of course MG monday.

So fast, and buttery smooth the new store is.

dude that is exactly what i said. i thought the old store got the job done. sure it moved from page to page a little slow but it was fine with me other than that.

that was until last night when i tried out the new store and oh my god that thing is spiffy! its so fast and clean and the start up sound is great. its a massive improvement on something i didnt even realize needed that much improving.

I tried it late lastnight and it never worked properly for me. I could never get an image to appear in any part of the store. Once it starts working properly, I can tell it was a very nice upgrade to the old store, looks great!

I've read of that happening to a few people in the last couple weeks, possibly as a result of the last firmware update. Seems if you renamed videos/songs/etc, the names have been lost.

Its cool and everything. Concept wise, but there seems to be loading issues and I'm sure other issue that other users are having but over all its ok. if i had to rate how much of an improvement it has it be a 7 out of 10.

It is MUCH better than before. Since the interface is on the PS3 (in the same manner as XBLM), and the content online, it is understandable that it can take some time for content images and such to load, but it does seem a little slow even still. Just to be clear: the interface is super zippy (maybe even more so than XBLM!), the content takes a few moments to load. O for back FTW!!

The update also added support for DTS Master Audio (lossless) and DTS-HD. I think this might just be one of the greatest updates yet!
