Major Nelson informs that secret agent Sam Fisher and some robots have been discovered covertly trying to sneak onto the Xbox Originals lineup. Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and Metal Arms: Glitch in the System will be available for 1200 MS points ($15) a piece beginning next Monday (except in Korea and Japan).
As usual, it behooves us to mention that unless it's 3AM and you've got the hankering for an Xbox Originals game, it's probably best to take a look around the intertubes (or a favorite gaming pawnshop) for a better deal.

Konami has one, but only to port MGS4 over to it.

Can't they have demos for these games? I don't want to blindly buy it without trying it.

Chaos Theory is everything you wish MGS was (gameplay wise) and much more. Best game of the series by far, and best multiplayer ever.

I agree with alkage, Chaos Theory was a great game. Although, 15 bucks seems a little steep since you can get it at a much cheaper price elsewhere. Unless you are lazy or like having your games on a hardrive I say go for it. I might pop it in later tonight!
Metal Arms was an enjoyable game. I have long lost it among the the clutter when I was moving, but I still remember some moments. The mechanic dude was the funniest character. It had some solid gameplay, upgradeable weapons, bosses. The mulitplayer was also suprisling deep because the hacking stuff in the game you could do in multiplayer. I reccomend this too but again...15 bucks!nah!

The PC version's been out for years, and my 5 year old PC can run it at full speed. It's worth a try.

Indeed, The Coop in this game was amazing. Actual Coop missions with different paths. It was much better then Army of two and much better then later versions. I bought the special edition and actually only played coop. Might convince a friend and pick this up.
Anyone know if the Coop will work on Live?

Same, I was a freaking ninja, beating the crap out of the mercs and disappear then do it again. I rarely snuck in that game, just played head games with them. :D

I'm hoping Conviction will be Chaos Theory good, but I really think number 3 was the high point of the series.

Loved SC:CT but without multiplayer and live achievements if you have already completed it why the heck would you ever bother now ?

No reason to look back at a cheap knockoff of the original when the next iteration drops in June ... I thought Double Agent was especially bad in comparison to chaos theory ... Oh well i am to busy catching up on some MGS Essentials to worry about anything with Sam Fisher in it ... Got my beta key locked an ready to go ...

I loves my Essentials. I just beat MGS3 again, now I'm going to beat 2 for the first time. I do miss 3's CQC though...

Some games should be bought from XBL on principal. Psychonauts, for example. In an ideal world unappreciated franchises will generate enough revenue from digital downloads to finance a sequel.

Beyond Good and Evil went from being from an underrated game to and overrated game overnight.
Oh and for those who havnt played it, Metal Arms is quite possibly the greatest game ever made. Defiantly the greatest shooter ever made.

If you own a 360 and don't own Chaos Theory, just go to EBStop and buy it for $6.

For anyone who wants to play Chaos Theory multiplayer, we still play several nights a week, and would love an increase in the population. Send an invite to BeeKnuckle or Gnaeugh, and we'll do some Snappy Snap.
Also, we've got a small Facebook group called "Splinter Cell: Spy Merc". Join if you like.
