Capcom gives Koreans pearl necklaces (and mousepads)
14
When the Nintendo Wii launches in South Korea this April 26th, Zack & Wiki will be sitting pretty on store shelves, too, beckoning adventure gaming fans to pick up a copy to accompany their new consoles. Rather than rely on the critically-acclaimed game's looks to generate sales, Capcom is offering two gifts with each preorder -- a Zack & Wiki-decorated mousepad and a treasure box filled with what looks like candy.
If that isn't enough to motivate Korean gamers, one hundred of those treasure boxes will contain a real pearl necklace! What a strange but awesome incentive! We wish someone would offer to give us a pearl necklace. All we ever received when we picked up Zack & Wiki was a look of derision from the GameStop clerk and a dim-witted quip about kiddie graphics.
[Thanks, Nick!]

Naughty naughty vidGuy... don't give the kids any lessons on adult terminologies.
And don't preach the word to innocent adults either.
Next thing you know, Korea might take it seriously and attack Nintendo Headquarters. :P

Rofl, aside from The Awesome-ness-icity of the Wii alone, they get a candy and a sweet mousepad??!! If you ask me, I prefer my two years of having the Wii than the prizes that accompany them in South Korea, but oh well.

If I didn't know any better, the treasure chest matches the old joke about the lost, ancient sea chest of great value....full of salt water taffy.
However, as Salt Water Taffy is full of yum, I'd be happy for both it and a mousepad. Wish I lived in korea....

Koreans love free stuff when they buy things.. Thats why walmart didnt work in korea. Koreans can care less about discounted prices they just want something for free that come with it. The only reason why i know this is my family lives in korea.

I would take that mouse pad any day. I'd be afraid of some guy jumping up and screaming
