Readers pick best webcomic: Visceration Station
Big thanks to Supafine's "Legend of Zelda: Visceration Station" webcomic for finally (and logically) explaining the heart system to us. The least we, as the Joystiq community, can apparently do is bestow you the honor of best game-related webcomic of the week.
Second and third place went to XKCD and College Humor, respectively. Thanks to everyone who voted, and be sure to let us know of any gaming comics you stumble upon this week!

Note: I know the art sucks... I pretty much drew it within a couple minutes. Also, COD4 strip coming friday...

Opinions are declarations of war, but that wasn't funny.

Nah, actually, I'd prefer opinions. I've tried and failed to launch a webcomic eight times already. Each time, I kept trying to do really complex artwork and officially made it beyond my ability to finish. So now I'm going to stick with this format for four weeks.
Essentially, monday and wednesday standard size strips, friday doubles. I'm hoping by the end of the fourth week, I'll have shown enough progress to make this a permanent thing. Otherwise, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

WiiFat
has a ring to it. (of truth)

To be honest, I like your simplistic art style.
j4s0n @ Apr 18th 2008 2:32PM
I like the style, presentation, and the art.
the humor's heart is in the right place, but needs direction. It's trying to be cynical in a silly way, and thats hard to do. Keep it up, though. You'll get there :)
Lewis @ Apr 16th 2008 4:46PM
I like it, I'll be looking forward to more.

Art style didn't bother me, but the strip was a tiny bit short of funny. Nice concept, but a bit lacking in the execution.
Try to use less words. We're too stupid =)

The guy in the first picture looks like Ganondorf.

Love the ass in the ads on the side!

you wouldn't trying to explain yourself at school; and why does the comparison have to be a terrible photochop

Slow week for comics.

I still liked Digital Unrest the best only because of my disdain of Gamestop.

Also, Ross, both Fanboys Online and Awkward Zombie are back to regular updates. I'd like to see em in the running again.

I'm really glad Supafine won. Its nice to see something different win every once in a while.

I knew link had a hidden secret about his hearts, I've always wondered how could he even gain so many hearts.
Benny @ Apr 16th 2008 6:06PM
I didn't really find it funny :(

Must have been a slow week.

I'm surprised this new up and coming comic was excluded.

I've noticed something.
Any time a webcomic seems to have anything to do with the Wii, or Nintendo in general, it pretty much always wins.
o.O
Fanboys scare the crap outta me. :(
