Noob.com's big reveal happens tomorrow

The big countdown on Mortal Kombat chief Ed Boon's personal site, Noob.com, revealed the above blurry picture and anagram. Cutting to the chase, it translates: Embargo lifts tomorrow. People are speculating the fuzzy image is MK's Scorpion, but it could be from the house party scene in Eyes Wide Shut for all we know.

If we really wanted to pinpoint a time Boon is going to make his big reveal, we'd shoot for something like 4PM Pacific. Why that time? Well, Midway is holding its media event in Las Vegas right now and the embargo on all information lifts at 4PM PST tomorrow. Maybe Boon will rebel and release his info early.

There was an image that was pulled on GamesRadar.com earlier today with a picture that was called something like MKDC.jpg with a silhouette of a guy in front of Kintaro who looked like Superman.

There was also a crossword puzzle/that code thing when translated listed a bunch of words. The only console name that seemed showed up was Wii.

Yea I am pretty sure it is mortal kombat vs dc and in a Sad note I read that there will be no fatalities in the game. So really it is non-mortal kombat verse DC. Or You could get a serious pricked finger vs DC.

Actually MK main series were never shitty so take that back.

What happened is that Midway thought that milking the MK license with crappy spin off’s was a good idea at the time (Mythologies was half decent tho’ and Shaolin monks wasn’t bad either) but the mayor let down was MK: Armageddon since it promised more that it could delivered.

In a fan point of view this is the way I saw MK series.

MK1: Good
MK2: Awesome
MK3: Good
UMK3:Friggin’ sweet.
Trilogy: Awesome
MKIV: Acceptable
MKIV Gold: Um
MK DA: Good
MK D : Great
MK:A Bummer.

Mortal Kombat Deception was a step forward to the series but Armageddon was a step back.

Maybe i was over the line. They lost me at three. The whole pre-determined combo thing was just boring and repetitive. THe CPU would run the same moves over and over. UMK3 felt exactly the same, except they put in the characters that should've been in there in the first place. MKI was a good start, and MKII was an excellent game. 4 was pretty disappointing. I only played a couple of others, but they couldn't keep my interest.

I thought MK died out in Armagamagaeddon (?) which was the end of the games series, Anyway I guess it to either be:

~Scorpion pointing at the screen with his face turned away
~two guys standing back to back
~A slug
~or it's not blurred to conceal it, boons releasing a game with a super fast main character, infact so fast that pixels cant properly be rendered thus appear permanently blurred
~finally a guy pointing and laughing at you.
