Quake Wars trailer goes for the hard sell
25
This, quite simply, is the best thing we've seen all day. Imagine, if you will, that video games were cars. Now imagine that they were also advertised by your local car dealership. Starting to get the picture? Perhaps a different analogy then. If video games were monster truck rallies, how would you advertise them? Things coming into focus yet? Well, even if they aren't, you should watch this trailer for Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. You will be glad you did. Find it embedded after the break.

This is just ridiculous, ridiculously hysterical. Is this serious?

haha wooow. I have this game on PC and love it dearly, and though my inner-PC fanboi tells me it will suck on 360, this trailer rules.

Oh and this is definitely inspired by Powerthirst, if anything:

Wow, just wow... Wish more game companies would use a little sense of humor into their marketing rather than treating everything so damn seriously (Halo 3 I'm looking at you).

Ive got this game for PC and it was quite funny at the beginning, but it got boring after some days cause there are no custom maps and only 12 maps included. in the end i regret my buy... just my 2 cents

This is the best marketing I've seen in a while. I like the humorous approach they've decided to take. It definitely helps the game stand out amongst its competitors.

This is a Battlefield clone with Quake characters, but the PC version was very entertaining, although I feel that the Strogg have an advantage over the humans. Hopefully it ports well to the XBOX.
BTW, a chick did the marketing for this, so for all of you dudes that think chicks don't know games - FU!
Strogg!!!

Cool, "funny cars this SATURDAY, saturday, *whisper* saturday", kind of feel.
The gameplay looks fast, fun and furieous all while sounding accessible. I remember when Quake was the shit for online multi-player......
