Want to see what the latest railroad-covered map to hit Team Fortress 2 looks like? Valve shared four screenshots and a video (embedded after the break) to give y'all a peek of their latest handiwork. We're still anxious to get our hands on the latest gametype – Payload – but this oughta do for now.

Looks pretty tight but really I have stayed up all night to register for the Rockstar Social club. whats up with that? Do they enable it when they wake up cause I'm running out of energy here.

I'm sure Goldrush will be greatly popular but the 36 new medic achievements are what worry me the most :( Some look incredibly hard. - http://shacknews.com/onearticle.x/52249
Valve police better be on the lookout because there's going to be serious stat padding coming their way.
I for one am going to work for my Übersaw.

36. Bedside Manner: Be healing a teammate as he achieves an achievement of his own.
It is possible for this achievement to be impossible to receive.
One day there will be a lonely man with no Übersaw.
=(

Also...there's going to be a barrage of comments from console TF2ers crying because of thier lack of new content...
I was once one of you, just accept that Valve is not prepared to develop at their current PC level on consoles and move on. Buying the PC version is well worth it for all this new content, a bigger community, more bug fixing and good service.

THE ORANGE BOX is definitely one of those games that *should've* been purchased for the PC, no matter what console you have. It's a better deal/price, and the added content & updates are readily DL'd.
Though -- to avoid stroking any kind of ego here, I do like that UT3 is mod'ready on PS3(I wish TF2 was as well). X360 owners should get that sort of treatment too... but given how tight-assed Microsoft is about that sort; it's doubtful. :\

I dunno if I like all this stuff. It just seems a little bit unlike Valve. I really didn't like unlockable weapons in Battlefield. While it did give a destination, it just didn't feel as even. Dangerous...

Agreed, I was hoping for at least some new textures here. All this brown and red is getting a little blah. Oh well, I'm sure it will be fun enough to forgive.

I'm pretty sure the art style is what makes the gameplay so awesome. I think they said during their GDC presentation that the colors help give the classes their distinctive outlines.

That map is huge! it feels much more bigger than dustbowl. And i have to say i love the layout the small passages the wide areas and all looks really good. Good choices are made but of course cant tell till we play this map. Theory looks different on paper. As for StatsPadding once at the beta time i connected to a friends pc and we were just foolin around and fe found that the game has actually bots but with no ai and we had cheats on and we wrecked the bots a bit but all that was transfered into my stats which i aferwards noticed. Now i have 123 backstabs and 25000 damage with sentry and i cant reset my stats because the reset button diddnt work at first and then they removed it. And now they say they dont reset stats anymore.

Those medic achievements are gonna unleash a swarm of TF2 griefers only trying to accomplish set objectives...ie, punching out 5 people with a heavy while ubered.
I still welcome them.
