UT3 on Xbox 360 adds five 'exclusive' maps
Jeff Morris, senior producer at Epic, tells the site he believes UT3 will be a reprieve for those with "tactical shooter fatigue." He stands by the game being an "unabashedly twitch" title. We're expecting more details (maybe even a release date) on the Xbox 360 version of UT3 sometime tomorrow.

The PC/PS3 versions allow mods... which would easily do the other options. Epic has yet to confirm that Microsoft will allow them to have mods; and to be straight with you -- I seriously doubt it'll happen. Expect it as DLC content or none at all. Which sucks, because X360 owners should get the same options as the other two.
Agreed
95% is _garbage_
Who can complain with free? Besides, good mods are good, just like good games are good.
Go ask Nintendo for more enlightment.
Mods are garbage right now, but in a year when I'm playing maps that I and others have made, and the community is still going strong because of it, you can tell me how much you still enjoy your 360 version.
mods make these games. Just wait and see. Im building something badass right now.
Good enough for me.
I have, but it sounds like you probably *haven't*... They're nearly the same damn ones on the PC, except for the sound files(which could likely appear in another version update for the game). Hell, since it's a MOD, if there's a problem with it, blame should be placed on the creator.
Also, to be grammatically correct on your opinion earlier: "95% _are_ garbage", not "is". :]
Maps and mods need to be free for all games. Like the PC. Microtransactions need to die.

Oh wait, no, that's not right at all. Counterstrike and UT2004 were both RIDDLED with custom maps.
I believe the last was Crysis. FEAR did it, UT2004 did it, Half-Life 2 did it, etc.
It is actually extremely common on the PC. Devs make free maps for their fans as a "thank you".
They haven't confirmed whether or not the 360 will have user created mods yet, so don't just blindly say it won't. Chances are, it won't, but either way, it will be a kick ass game.
To be honest, I would rather have 5 exclusive maps rather than a shit ton of horrid user created maps to wade through.
This game is so good, I'll buy it for the 360 as well, even though I already have it for the PC. Once I get a PS3 I'll buy it for that, too... If I'm a fanboy of anything, it's Unreal.

If this ain't happening I can't see it taking away a lot of server time from CoD or Halo.

I would take mouse/keyboard and mod support over spilt screen though.

However I still doubt that I'm going to buy it since GoW2 is basically right after that and to me that has the potential to be way more fun than UT3.
