Zero Punctuation likes half of Condemned 2

So, anyone out there play Indigo Prophecy (known as Fahrenheit in Europe)? You remember how about halfway through everything got really stupid? Remember how all the intriguing elements gave way to a ridiculous plot? If not, you could always pick it up on Xbox Originals and find out. Anyway, if Yahtzee (of Zero Punctuation fame) is to be believed, Condemned 2: Bloodshot suffers from Indigo Prophecy syndrome. In other words, it's a great game ... right up until the halfway point. Find out exactly what went wrong after the break (as usual, this week's Zero Punctuation video is NSFW).

Actually, I enjoyed it as well, but I felt the plot really went south.

I'm glad he pointed out the fact that the original Condemned was an excellent game.

I loved how Condemned 2 turned out, it was genius, and a nice commentary of what is happening in this country right now.

I really love this guy. I admit I started watching his videos because of all the cussing which made it funny however his analysis are so spot on and really make funny of the parts where teh developers slacked off. Dang it!! hes good!!

I really did enjoy the combat improvements over the first Condemned. I also liked being able to chuck weapons at enemies. I liked having access to the investigation tools at any time as well. The only thing I missed was the recharging stun gun which I used a LOT more in the first Condemned than I did on the new title.
I was impressed with the game overall but that story and everything he recaps about the end of the game is spot on.

Totally nails the Indigo Prophecy syndrome. I loved that game up until the story started going bat-shit insane. I kept playingtill the end in hopes of the story coming through but instead we get a ridiculous, Matrix style, introspective/robo dumbassery party.

I loved the first game - was an early 360 game of next gen quality. So far the game is... ok. Not as tense and the combos are a little annoying vs. the raw, visceral appeal of the first game. The biggest improvement through the first few levels is the improved forensics.
