Army of Two gets SSC Challenge pack April 24

We should mention, in the interest of full disclosure, that the maps (to our knowledge) include no new fists pounds or air guitar solos. Sorry. The SSC Challenge Pack, which will hit Xbox Live Marketplace and PSN on April 24, will run you $7.50 or 600 MS points, if you prefer imaginary currency.

God help me, I actually played and mostly enjoyed the co-op campaign of this game apart from a few frustrating aspects. But, who in the hell is actually playing this multiplayer? Give me a break.
KingOfGods @ Apr 18th 2008 11:08AM
I find the multiplayer fun and I never have a prob filling my room
Imadogg @ Apr 18th 2008 7:53PM
Went through the co-op with a friend, very very fun. Never played the multiplayer.
Louis @ Apr 18th 2008 10:38AM
I'm all for DLC, but this game JUST came out. This means that this was probably already developed and ready to go.
If you have something that could have gone in the game, but it sucks if you are just going to milk a little money out of people who bought the game.
Unless this was truly a whole new add-on like Mass Effect DLC.
FOXHOUND @ Apr 18th 2008 2:57PM
"I'm all for DLC, but this game JUST came out. This means that this was probably already developed and ready to go."
You don't know how right you are. According to the interview with the staff on the recent GameInformer magazine; there were more maps intended but weren't up to QA by time of going gold. Which basically translates to:
"If this game sells well enough, expect DLC of maps/items that would've been in the game if we opted to delay it again... but thanks to marketing forcing us to get it out the door; this recent DLC makes us look better by seemingly being prompt in providing extra shiz'nit."
dark_inchworm @ Apr 18th 2008 10:45AM
You have failed, please try again.

Ao2 OnlineMP = LAGFEST!
Neon Jebus @ Apr 18th 2008 11:07AM
Never went online with it. Sadly I only played the solo campaign. But I ended up doing through it three different times. The game really grew on me. I know you noticed the amount of time I gave that game Fenix.
xFenixKnightx @ Apr 18th 2008 11:17AM
Yeah I did notice, and b4 you played it...I was busy playing it and got 960gp out of it ;) I'm just missing that one online achievement where you need to earn all of *1 BILLION dollars.
I went through it 3 times as well and it grew on me too like you mentioned. I'm not going to lie, when it *wasnt laggy it wasnt all that bad and you really did need to have communication with your partner FTW.
Vcize @ Apr 18th 2008 10:59AM
So this is basically just new online maps? Meh, are they still working on extra campaign levels as DLC for this game?
kbomb1upc @ Apr 18th 2008 12:54PM
That's what I want...more campaign...MP sucks big time. Please EA gives us more campaign...or aleast fix MP. Why can't I choose who I play with in MP?
evangelion17 @ Apr 18th 2008 11:03AM
I am all for DLC, but getting tired of all these Multiplayer map packs. I wish developers would start releasing more single player or co-op side missions.
ugg.tryptophan @ Apr 18th 2008 2:51PM
well said +1 (fistpound)
Gaucho @ Apr 18th 2008 11:07AM
I'm the only person I know that seriously hated this game. I think even yahtzee liked it more than I did. I can't even put my finger on a single aspect that made me hate it, but God, did I ever hate it.
konajinx @ Apr 18th 2008 11:12AM
No, Gaucho, I too hated this mess. Granted, I only played the demo, and I realize that it's just a training sequence, but God help me, this felt like the most broken, boring, and pointless game I've played in a long time. And I only tried the demo because my friend was cracking up at how bd it was, so we played together and yeah...he was right.
Gaucho @ Apr 18th 2008 11:23AM
consider yourself smarter than I. I actually bought it and returned it two days later, I lost $20 in the transaction. The reason bought it was because I've been buying into the hype since the game was first announced. they made it sound great and the concept of healing your teammate with a tampon sounded revolutionary . . . wait . . . why was i ever interested in this? oh yeah . . . they had cool skull masks . . . (slaps self across the face)
Shmil @ Apr 18th 2008 11:57AM
No, I played the demo and could not stand the game. The dialog was terrible. Maybe if I was younger, lets say 13-17 I would find this funny, also I would have to be a Frat boy like jock to get the humor.
The "asshole" in the demo (can't remember his name) the one you have to meet up with, seemed like the best character in the game. I'd rather play a surely merc than a pair of fat headed frat boys with guns.
If that skinny douche said "bro" one more time, I was about to put a controller through my TV.
Shmil @ Apr 18th 2008 2:00PM
*note
I am not calling the entire fanbase of AoT frat jock douches, I just feel that it, like madden and sadly halo, appeal to them more than myself.
Ninjakamster @ Apr 18th 2008 11:07AM
Its looks like multiplayer is just far far far more popular. : (
I myself would perfer more single-player DLC as well.
Ninjakamster @ Apr 18th 2008 11:08AM
Noooo!!! My sad smiley got chopped in two, now he's even more sad! ; ^ (
Archr5 @ Apr 18th 2008 11:19AM
I enjoyed the hell out of the campaign co op but honestly the Multiplayer feels terrible so far (a friend and I are only about 10 games in... but it seems like either there shouldn't be any computer controlled enemies, or they should beef up the character stats a bit so you can get shot by the AI enemies for a bit before taking them out.
my buddy and I got to 880 gamer points and we're just going to trade the game in now because we'll never play enough multiplayer to get any more points.
ScottG13 @ Apr 18th 2008 11:32AM
The co-op missions is where this game shines. We don't need MP maps, we need co-op missions. Drop 5 co-op missions on me and my $10 flies out of my wallet.
Tim The Enchanter @ Apr 18th 2008 11:36AM
Playing with a friend: yes it's fun.
Playing with a random know it all 12 year old: would rather poke my eye with a stick.
t_m @ Apr 18th 2008 1:03PM
Isn't this the only game where playing with random stupid xbox-live kids actually improves the wit and intelligence of the dialogue?
NitroFrost @ Apr 18th 2008 5:07PM
AO2 online = Awesome good time if you know what your doing. got lag once when I was host don't get it when I am not host. The game is good all the people that hate it just don't talk about it leave it alone and go back to what ever else u were doing. Its the same with anime some people hate it and say "keep it in Asia" when I love Manga and Anime.
konajinx @ Apr 18th 2008 7:53PM
Even the worst anime (and I personally love anime) completely pwnz this turd.
