20 characters, 10 from each. hmm okay:

MK LIST:
Sub-zero, Scorpion, Raiden, Rain, One of the cyborgs, Shao Kahn, Kitana, Sonya, Jax, Ermac.

DC LIST:
Batman, Superman, Green Arrow / Lantern, Joker, Deathstroke, P. Ivy, Scarecrow, 2 Face, Starfire or Wonderwoman.

Rebuttle? Ideas?

Whilst fatalities were cool and all, I never really did them. And while violence is toned down, this can still be a dark and gritty game (especially if Boon sticks to using the "I like gears of war graphics" idea).

If instead of making a large roster, they choose to give each character some challenges and reason for fighting someone in an actual interactive story then this could be awesome.

Keep the environments small so that this "fast-paced" and hectic experience can easily traverse multiple areas in a single arena.

ie: start off on top of a building, fall to the streets, and get belted into a coffee shop and watch all the normies run for their lives!

Use your imagination and this could be awesome! But judging from previous installments it will probably be a let-down.

Oh! and add Reptile (Human form or don't bother).

Also Raven instead of Starfire / Wonder woman, because Raven would be perfect for this game. Plus there arn't ever many fun female characters to play in MK, Raven would be though.

I'm afraid the different people that are talking trash about this game are stuck referencing a Superman back when his comics cost a dime. Stuff's changed. Superman gets angry and tries to take matters into his own hands sometimes. Wonder Woman killed a major villain with no powers of his own. Batman has a plan for disabling each member of the Justice League which were once stolen, used successfully, and Batman still hasn't apologized for it.

Why exactly are we trying to argue the logic behind winning a fight against Superman? There's ways to explain it (credit to those who said to place him in a sunless dimension or argue that the MK powers are magical). Maybe they'll come up with something clever like the way Capcom explained how Hulk gets hurt by Ryu's punches...

You take the likes of Sub-Zero, Jax, and Raiden and why wouldn't you pit them against Killer Frost, Steel, and Black Lightning?

You really think Capcom nailed it with Marvel vs. Capcom 2? Did you know that the majority of teams consisted of Dr. Doom, Blackheart, Sentinel, or Cable? Capcom failed to balance the characters with superior ranged attacks.

This is how the MK guys can mess this up. Keep the fatalities, and the DC guys will feel really out of place. Pit them against each other for the powers and skills that they have, not because we want to see them gib each other.

Well this could be bad, or it could be good. Does anybody else want to beat the crap out of Johny Cage with Doomsday? Which brings me to what I should have said before:

Can you play as the DC villains? 'Cause if so, I would LOVE this game...

I'd rather see a good T-Rated fighting game with DC characters and a M-Rated fighting game for the new Mortal Kombat. I mean, sure both sets of characters are fictional, but blending the two universes is a terrible idea.

It is hilarious that Ed Boon has a movie poster for "There Will Be Blood" on his website, though.
