Cool...I think everyone was in agreement that the MK series was getting stale...this is a nice addition.

the hero on the right looks more like wolverine but I've seen the trailer and is indeed batman.

I don't see how this is going to work. Batman is perfect for a fighting game. Nightwing, Hawkman, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, and Wonderwoman all could work. But what about Superman, Captain Marvel, Flash, Martian Manhunter, etc? DC just has too many uber-powerful a-list heroes for this.

The "Extreme"(Read: Extremely Fake) gore of Mortal Kombat just wasn't shocking anymore. The unless they decided to start ripping genitalia, I don't see WHERE else it could have gone. This move, ackward as it may seem, has already brought them more attention that "Oh, now you can rip the opponents skull, then polish it!" I'm personally stoked by the announcement. Not that I wouldn't apreciate the gore and stuff, but when you think about it, that's superficcial stuff.

And it's not worst than when they announced Shrek for Street Fighter IV...Oh, they haven't revealed it yet? Never mind, then.

honestly, maybe its due to my lack of respect to the MK characters, but i really dont see many heroes in the DC world having any trouble at all in these fights ...flash, wonder woman, green lantern, superman? sheesh, batman, the only one without powers, i still see kicking everyones ass.

1)Superman vs Johnny Cage. Oh the horror!
2)Do you really think DC will allow the MK series to use fatalities and separate the head and torsos of their treasured licensed charcter properties?

WTF are they trying to prove, this is gona be the worst MK game of all time, I mean I was like a BIG WTF. This is not right at all. Might as well be MK vs Space Channal 5. JUST MAKE A NORMAL MK GAME!!! We dont need this crap that they are putting out. Im a huge MK fan and this, well this is just awful, i dunno what say, im speechless...BOO ON THIS MK GAME...IM DONE!!!

I think this will be a hit but they should make a game where the fighting is free roam. The coolest VS game would be MARVEL vs DBZ[dragon ball z}. Imagine Goku batteling the hulk. Iron Man batteling Vegeta. That would be a sick game.

this has got to be the stupidest Idea I have ever heard.

Hopefully this is just a hold over till mk8 and if that sucks, then I'm done with mortal kombat completly.Epic seriously needs to buy midway out,and make a actual GOOD fighting game,cause at least it looks like epic knows what they are doing.Oh and I hope they fire boon and the rest of the staff cause apparently they don't care if they rush the game.Stupid deadlines (rolls eyes).

fact of the matter is,if game makers want a actual GOOD game they should take their time instead of having deadlines like midgay,I mean midway does.

Now as for the DC universe,I don't know much about it,so I won't bash on it.As for midway, they haven't had a decent game since mortal kombat 2,with the except of MK Deception which was alright, good but not great.But I'll probably buy it,just to have the collection.

In my opinion Mk8 and this is their last hope,they screw it up,they mine as well file for bankruptsy

wooooow, this game looks awsome. cant wait to get it. the next game should bring in street fighter, virtua fighter, marvel and any other fighting game you could think of, mix them all up and have good vrs evil tournament so the actual characters would be mixed up in the story of the game aswel. what do you all think
